Pretty sturdy although not the most comfortable to stand on for more than a few seconds. Looks great in the bathroom.

Occasionally something like this knocks you off your feet! I’d been scouting another on line market place but people were asking rediculous money then I tried Amazon and within minutes I bought this at an unbelievable price yesterday . It arrived at 11 am !!!!!! today. Absolutely fantastic, quality is unbelievable. If you are after one of these look no further. Recommended seller.

For the money this is great value and it looks great im a little over 91 kg in body weight and its sturdy

I bought four of these for each of our shower rooms. It says they are made from bamboo, they aren't - it is Pawlonia wood which is not the same. They are very flimsy, within a week one of the struts was broken. They are not varnished and they absorb water, so will be mouldy in no time. They are not fit for purpose - don't waste your money.

I opted for this board as an alternative to fabric bath mats that tend to stay damp as we have such a small bathroom with little ventilation. I found the ideal situation is to place this board over a fabric mat, so the water isn’t sitting stagnant under the board once you get out of the shower. It’s absorbed by the fabric mat without you having to stand on wet fabric which makes me cringe. This looks great in my bathroom as the wood matches the other accessories we have in there. Having something a little different that also ties the room together means this is something I’d recommend if you’re not a fan of soggy bath mats!

There are two problems with this. First, the wood is quite light, thin and flimsy (especially at this price). It looks and feels more like balsa than bamboo. Second, little rubber feet are attached to the slats that lie on the ground. This raises the unsupported slats so increasing the force your height transmits downwards. As a result when I first stepped on it I heard an ominous crack (I am average height and weight). However, I was lucky. Nothing had actually broken. So I unscrewed each of the rubber feet and using a bradawl (the wood is so slight you don't need a drill) repositioned them on the underside of the slats you step on (there are just enough rubber feet to do this - 8). This provides support between the slats on the ground (see pic). Not ideal but the best I could do. Result: greater strength and stability. It now works a treat. So, four stars in this configuration, two stars as delivered, outcome: three.

It feels pretty solid and has had fairly heavy usage since purchasing mid-March - no sign of mould just yet though (will be keeping an eye on this as seems to be a prevalent issue flagged by other buyers).
