Vitamix Immersion Blending Jar

This is exactly what I expected--a storage container that I can also use as a blending container for my Vitamix Immersion Blender. The container is sturdy and has a tight-fitting lid. In fact, the lid can be quite difficult to remove if it's tightened very much. The container is roomy (32 oz/960 ml) and of sturdy quality. It's useful for blending soup, beverages, or other items and then putting the lid on it for storage. No transfer of containers is necessary. The shape is designed for an immersion blender and facilitates better blending action and minimal splash out. It's nothing fancy, but it's just what I needed for it's intended use. I purchased two of them. They're a bit pricey but I don't expect to need to buy any more. They seem very durable.

Essential for use with the Vitamix hand-held blender. But - you really need two or more. Then you can mix up drinks and place them in the refrigerator for later enjoyment without washing the blender for each and every serving.

Lid fitment is terrible, get stuck onto jar Jar is plastic not glass Bottom has a bulge that your immersion blender will hit and break off $20 for a plastic bottle lmao

I really like this, the only issue I’ve encountered is the seal. It feels loose so you tighten it, and then it’s too tight and you’re having to ask for help to get it open. It’s like there’s no middle ground. Overall, though, good quality, a really good size, there’s not a lot of containers this size, and works well with the blender.

This is my second purchase, moved states and left my first one behind. I love how durable this is. Perfect size. Easy to clean. I use my immersion blender with ice for my smoothies countless times and it has not shown any sign of wear. I also like how it comes with a cover. I do wish it had a straw cover too.

Was skeptical at first. But this jar is amazing. If have an immersion blender this is more then a must have. Allows you to pack it full and immersion blenders make short work at what you can throw at them. And you would think it would splash out of top but I've filled it to the brim and didnt even lose a drop. It's the concave top that the key. Like smoothies this with immersion blender are a must have. Did I mention it takes much less time to get a great blend then most top brands of your typical blender with a pitcher.

I bought this blending jar to use with my immersion blender that did not come with a jar. At first I thought the size was a little large, but it works well for things like smoothies, vinaigrette, etc. I also like that the jar has measurements on the side and a lid. The one thing that I do not like is that the interior does not have a smooth surface instead had multiple grooves and channels. This makes it difficult to use a rubber/silicone spatula to remove the contents. I still like it and will use it, but that is super annoying.

I'm so impressed by the quality of this Vitamix Immersion Blending Jar. It's thick and sturdy with clearly marked measurements. I'm going to get another one since I'll be making mayonnaise and smoothies. I can store the mayonnaise right in the jar for a couple of weeks in the fridge while I whip up smoothies and puree cream soups with the other. Now I am inspired to purchase the Immersion Blender, as well.

At the end of the day, it's a rectangular plastic jar with a screw-on lid. I don't consider either the name 'Vitamix' or its supposed design quality worth this high price of £30, even if it is shipped from America. I expected something of much higher quality... shop around.

Just what I needed for my immersion blender for smaller jobs and smoothies. Love it!

Really like this; great for making smoothies with the immersion. Also great for cleaning the unit.
