There are several versions of this type of dish available. I went with this one because of the high ratings and I'm glad I did, It has a nice, well made feel to it. The top dish sits snuggly on the bottom section, but comes right out for emptying and cleaning. I included it with a couple of big bags of salt and pepper pistachios and it made a great gift for my pistachio-loving husband!

Bought one for my mother Xmas and then bought myself one too. Use one side or theother for shells or both sides st once like I do. Give a little push from each side @nd get more shells underneath. Xmas this will be bought for a couple friends. Love the dish

LOVE it! I am addicted to pistachios and it is perfect for eating them without my ornery little yorkie getting into the shells! I can't wait to use it for cherries and edamame too! It's the perfect design with plenty of space for both the whole nuts and the shells underneath! It's light weight and a great red color!
