Sturdy step stringer.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This step stringer is a great quality & very stable. It worked out great for my application on adding it to my shed.

High quality steel, but next time I’ll build a wooden box step.
High quality steel, but you are probably better off building a wooden box step since it is probably just as much or more work since you need to secure it to a concrete footing. Glad it came with a drill bit.

Works great, very supportive. But does not include good enough tools.
Brackets worked well, easy ish to install. Very durable and fit for my usage. But it is absolutely NOT all inclusive. Does not include the needed tools for it, I honestly just tossed out the tiny self driving screws. There was no way it was going to do anything to my large wood piece. Will absolutely be using again, especially since I had to spend an extra 100+ just to get the needed tools to install this in concrete. Additionally tools required: hammer drill, socket& drill adapter.

Overall Well Constructed Item
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Overall the product is superbly designed. Great construction and easy to apply. However, I found in my application that the 4 self tapping screws were not sufficient to hold the two 2x 6x8 pressure treated treads I had to make a visit to my local hardware store and purchase #12 1 inch lag screws to secure the treads to the bracket. With this adjustment the product worked great.

Very sturdy, solid. Little or no flexing when properly installed. I used them on my storage shed, very satisfied with product and value.

Perfect and easy way to add steps
These were perfect for our new deck. We used different screws/bolts than the ones that came with it bc they weren't working for us. Way better than buying the wood stringers.

Structurally Sound
I used 8 of these on a 16 foot wide step. Says they will support 2,000lbs between risers. The metal risers provide a great finished appearance and compliment any other black hardware on the deck as well as the furniture. Quality of fabrication is excellent with full seam welds. Recommend to anyone as far superior to wood risers. I used lag bolts. Included hardware not for wood.
