It acts like birth control for bugs by interrupting the development cycle of the insect. Insects that are born from a treated adult will have deformed reproductive organs and not be able to reproduce. It is best to combine Gentrol Point Source with an adulticide for immediate control. Gentrol Point Source is a very easy to use the product. Just activate the Gentrol by simply squeezing the capsule on the adhesive-backed disk. This will release the IGR onto the paper filter and begin to prevent roaches from reproducing. Pyrid Aerosol- The active ingredient in Pyrid (pyrethrum) provides instant knockdown of insects. It is the extract from a chrysanthemum flower and considered by many to be a natural pesticide. Inject Pyrid Aerosol into the cracks and crevices or void spaces where insects may be hiding, living, and breeding. Please injector tip into cracks, holes and other small openings and apply a short 1-second spray. For continuous spray treat at a rate of 1 ft/sec to 3 ft/sec depending on infestation level. For cubic void, applications use Pyrid at a rate of 3-5 sec/ft^3. Maxforce Magnum- Results will be seen the same day as Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Gel has been applied. It can take up to 5 days before total control is achieved. Application rate varies according to the level of infestation and species to be controlled. Apply gel as round spots or thin beads into cracks and crevices or as a spot treatment. Place bait close to cockroach harborages, foraging and feeding areas such as corners and cracks and crevices. Numerous smaller bait placements provide faster control than fewer larger placements. In cases of severe infestation and areas with excessive clutter or alternative food sources that cannot be eliminated, use the higher rate of application.
