How To Re-do the Knots for Extra Security
This is an almost perfect product, except for one big mistake by the manufacturers: they got the knots wrong! If you use it the way it was delivered, the adjustments will slip easily and it will not securely hold the weight of your feet. Take a look at the diagram I attached to this review. It shows the way it was shipped and the proper way to retie the knots. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes, and the effects are night and day! :)

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED
PERFECT, exactly what I needed to keep my feet elevated under my desk at work to help with my ankle swelling problem. Very comfortable and easy to install/adjust.

Works as intended!
Tbh, I was skeptical at first. Thought this was a gimmick item. Was debating giving this a shot versus a simple leg stand for under the desk. But it actually works quite well! I would like to note one thing though; the little rope piece to control the length wasn't as strong as I liked. I simply solved this by first making it the desirable length, then basically double tied it around the little stopper. (Wasn't going to ever travel with this since I wanted this to be permanent anyway.)Pros:-Basically have it any length you want. Very generous with the rope length.-Clampers have rubber stoppers to prevent from sliding off the desk, although the tighting screw is more than enough.-I CAN SWING my feet; leg. (Nothing wrong with relaxing!)-Extra piece to attach your headset! (Although I didn't need this since I had a dedicated mount for mine. It comes NOT attached, in case you were wondering if you can remove that part.)Cons:-Little black rope piece (controls length of rope) on each opposite side of the hammock isn't as strong as I would like it to be. (Sometimes it didn't stay in place the the hammock would slowly slide lower.) *Easy fix as explained above.

Short people: welcome to heaven.
I'm 5'6", well, only if I haven't had a haircut in awhile.. and if I'm standing on my tip-toes.. and I stretch my neck as far as I can.No really, I am 5'6" and I've always struggled with comfort at my desk. As a Software Engineer, I easily spend 8-10 hours every day at my desk just sitting. You know how little kids sit on a chair and kick their feet back and forth because they don't touch the ground? That's basically me on a toilet, in my chair, a public transit bus, etc...Okay, my feet touch the ground, but I like to lean back in my seat which DOES lift my feet of the ground. Super uncomfortable after a bit of time. I find myself sitting on my legs, which looks juvenile as hell for a tech professional at their desk.Enter the foot hammock. I have been more comfortable at my desk for the last day than I can ever remember. I can lean back, my feet on the hammock relieves the weight on my legs at the end of the chair, and I can raise my chair up to a more appropriate height for the desk.Seriously, combining that with having elevated my monitors and I feel like I'm in short-person ergonomic heaven. It helps that I can easily sit up in my chair and the hammock just swings with me. The foot rest I tried for the last couple days has nothing on the comfort of this. For $17 uh, yeah, do it!

In short person heaven!
When I installed this foot hammock (which took all of two minutes), I told my husband, "Oh my gosh! I am in short people heaven right now!" I was able to lift up my chair so my hands rest better on my desk for typing and because that would tend to make my legs go numb, I can now rest them on the hammock and it feels so comfortable. I love how adjustable it is as far as height and the clamps work great on our custom made desk. I was concerned about the metal base but I was pleased when I took it out of the box and saw the felt.I considered getting a foam rest that would sit on the floor but what I like about this is I can easily slide the hammock off if I want to pack it away to make the desk area look neat.I have used it for two days and it has stayed at the length I set it.

Perfect 👌
For reference I'm 5'0. My feet don't even touch the ground. :') I got this because I could find any foot rests tall enough and this was even cheaper.I love that its adjustable so you can change the slack easily. Having something that swings is also great because I can get fidgety sometimes and having long it means I can move forward or backward and still keep my feet on it.I work on an a Cintiq (monitor your can draw on) that's on an adjustable arm so I change my position a lot. Because the hammock is the span of my desk I don't have to adjust it everytime I move. The clamps are very sturdy also.

Great for keeping feet elevated at work
Great to stick under my desk at work to keep my feet elevated. The clips are great but it is really designed to only clip onto the sides of a desk...which I don’t have access to. So. I had to clip them onto the back of the desk which is ok...but not great because it orients the hammock strangely. The hammock itself is a durable heavy canvas that feels sturdy. The rope appears to be cotton...so I feel like it will fray and stretch over time and I will want to replace it with a more durable nylon rope when the time comes. The accessory hook is optional...which was a relief because I can’t use it at my desk.

Overall just what I needed
The rope slips and I have to readjust to keep it at the right height. Maybe I'm missing something, but there isn't a good way to keep it where I have it set to. It only slips when I put my feet in it though. I've tied the rope up at the carabiners, that helps, but I still have to adjust on occasion. Other than that, I actually really do like it. It is much better than having an ottoman or box under my desk and it does seem well made.
