Not compatible with Windows 8
I was really looking forward to playing this game, but it isn't compatible with Windows 8 computers. Probably my fault for not realising, but I thought when it said Windows 7 it meant and newer. Silly me. Looks like a fun game, just kept crashing after loading screen. Not the product's fault!

I absolutely love the first game and it is the best game I have to date. When I learned that there was a sequel I just had to have it and unfortunately I was disappointed. Firstly there were a lot of difficulties in getting the game to run and they still have not all been solved. I think that the graphics are really poor especially compared to those of the first game and the characters look very grotesque. I think they should have left the first version as it was and not remastered it. The second game I find hard to get into and I really am in no hurry to try it again.

Received this pc game for xmas, not a bad game just dont use it on your laptop unless its really powerful, seemed to crash alot on my laptop!!

Good, but could be better
When I saw RE2 was coming out, I was really excited, because I loved the original restaurant empire. Was slightly confused by the choice of new cuisine types (german, dessert house, coffee house) - would have preferred indian, chinese or thai myself, and would have given better scope for new decoration schemes, but still.Generally a good game, very similar to original. Was excited by the fact it had 2 campaignes, til I realised the first is just a remastered version of restaurant empire, so if you buy this game, don't waste money on the original version too. Also, I couldn't get it to run until I downloaded new graphics card drivers, so if your version crashes try this.
