I have some pretty heavy NAS equipment on these shelves and they hold up very well and are very sturdy. Constructed very well from quality materials. Get the 2U vs the 1U if you plan on using it for heavy equipment. It just holds the weight better.

Easy to assemble and sturdy

These shelves install very easy and are sturdy feeling, though I wont be putting much weight on them to test the limits! The two pack has great value for the money.The only con is in the design. These would be better suited to being rack shelves if they had a lip in the back to prevent any equipment back sliding off the shelf.

This is a two-pack of rackmount shelves that are well made, with sturdy side supports and a relatively deep 14" depth. They feel quite sturdy to me - while I don't doubt that a major impact prior to mounting could bend them, they hold plenty of weight in my installation and haven't deformed at all, nor do I think they would once installed in a rack.The numerous long ventilation holes serve dual purposes: not only do they allow air through, they also provide anchor points for using zipties to hold items onto your shelf. I like this design better than some other competing shelves with smaller perforations.These are also flat with no lip, which I like because it means you can dangle slightly-too-long stuff off the back as long as you secure it to the shelf. But at 14" there's typically plenty of depth.

Included hardware has nothing to do with rack mount mounting, rear screw hole is too small, and no hardware is provided for the small hole. The rear small hole also does not line up with my rack.

The metal is either too thin or too soft, and the shelves bend easily. In fact one was bent out of the box, which I somewhat straightened with not much effort.

This is great for placing thing in your server rack that are not mountable. Just set the equipment on top and you are good to go! It was able to hold everything set on it without bending so it appears to be quite ridged. Overall a great addition to your server rack.

I got these to use on an old floor mounted data center rack I got from a liquidation sale. The package came with two shelves, standard rack screws, and locking washers.ProsFits my standard 19" rack which I use for my home network setup. Now I can get my file server off of the ground.Included screws and hardware saved me a trip to my local hardware store.ConsNone so farI've been looking for shelves from local places, but had absolutely no luck. Most datacenters these days use cabinets with their own built in racking for servers so you don't see these shelves for cheap too often anymore. Very happy to have found these.
