Scarab Ring from our Egyptian jewelry line. The scarab beetle was a symbol of resurrection, flight and eternal life to the Ancient Egyptians. The ring holds a 5 mm round gemstone. Choose from genuine Carnelian Agate, Garnet, Jade, Lapis Lazuli (the most valued gem in Ancient Egypt), Malachite, Moonstone, Opal, and Turquoise gemstones. Due to the nature of natural gemstones, variations will occur from the examples shown. Stones with a cat's eye such as Moonstone, the placement of the eye may not be perfectly vertical. The ring is available in US sizes 5 to 13, in whole and half sizes. The ring measures approximately 22.5 mm (7/8") from stone to end and the band measures 2.5 mm (just under 1/8") wide. The ring weighs approximately 6.8 grams in sterling silver, approximately 8.5 grams in 14k gold. Weight will vary with size. This item comes packaged in a unique jewelry box and the inside band is stamped with a Sterling silver quality seal of authenticity.
