Perfect worked great.

I used this insulation on my outside combustion air supply tubing to keep it straight and support it on the wall by using 2" electrical conduit pipe clamps.

I mean it is standard 2" pipe insulation. Hard to screw up. It worked great. This is the kind you slide your finger down the serrated line to separate if you wish to split it. I used electrical tape to retain it. With the 1/2" and 3/4" stuff the 3/8" wall is enough hold it together. At this size it needs more help to close the gap.

Package was a bit silly but insulation worked great for our pool lines as they go from the ground j to the heater.

Used this to insulate some pool plumbing, 2-3/8" insulation fits my 2" sched 40 PVC perfectly, keeps the return water (after pool heater) warm on the way to the pool ! Seems to hold up relatively well to the sun/elements. I used zip ties to keep it tight and in place

Impressive material and capabilities. My mom has an outdoor oil tank with a copper line that tends to freeze. Her plumber used typical diameter pipe wrap which left gaps and space for water to get in. I left his wrap on and put the 2" Thermacel wrap over top. I used zip ties along length. Worked out beautifully! Shipped in oversized box straight runs no bends which was a big plus.

Even though this is a screaming deal, make no mistake, this is the cheaper type of extruded foam pipe insulation, not the better rubber foam, and you will most likely have to wire tie or tape it closed as the split does not have adhesive ends. It will waterlog if left exposed outdoors and it is not UV stable.HOWEVER, it was shipped intact and unfolded in a 6ft box so it arrived without creases or bends, making this an incredible value considering the shipping cost (for 1 piece!) for this size packaging. This particular diameter is for 2" IPS pipe (OD 2 3/8"- PVC DWV, Iron soil pipe, or steel pipe), not for 2" copper tube size.
