The media could not be loaded. UPDATED SPETEMBER 2015:I have using this belt for 4 months now and still absolutely love it! I wear the belt daily (Mon-Fri) and I am constantly moving around. I also use a hip case for my mobile phone. The belt leather has actually been one of the first belts not to wear down where I slip the case on the belt. From my perspective it is very durable. On the other hand I have noticed wear on the edging of the belt where it passes through the back pant loops. As for the buckle, it has proved to be very reliable. The finish has not worn down or chipped away nor has it lost any grip on the belt leather.I still rate this belt a 5 star and a must own in any man'a wardrobe.ORIGINAL REVIEW: MAY 2015Before purchasing this belt I researched many track style belt options available online. The main reason I ordered the Slidebelt over the other options (Trackline, Mission Belt, Nextbelt, Easybelt) is because of the integrated design of the release mechanism into the buckle. The other options all have an additional lever that protrudes from buckle that you have to depress to loosen the belt. I feel this really makes a different for the overall appearance of the bucket and belt. As for the operation of the buckle, I find it very easy to put on and take off. I like the idea of only having to apply pressure to the outside portion of the buckle instead of trying to locate a lever to release the belt.I read many other reviews on this belt and felt some of them may have had some merit when discussing quality. While I have only been wearing the belt for 1 day now (with plans to provide future updates), I haven't noticed any of the quality issues that have been discussed in some of the other reviews. All the craftsmanship appears to be in good working order and functioning correctly. While the belt is genuine leather and has a soft feel to it unlike some other genuine leather belts I have owned, which I prefer. This is a great belt that I use everyday. I love the slide belt it comes on and off conveniently and the gun metal finish looks stylish. Everyone is surprised how the belt operates. I have used it everyday for the last year and the belt has kept up with me with minor wear and tear. The belt can be adjusted to your own liking by cutting off the excess as instructed. It will become a perfect fit just the way you want it and it will be a nice piece to your collection of accessories. I especially like the little emblem logo because it adds a bit of flare to the belt instead of having it be just a plain boring buckle. It is a must have belt that will match any set of your black dress shoes. The belt buckle has never been scratched and is quite durable. Considering that I have used this belt nearly every day gives me satisfaction that it doesn't damage or fall apart easily. The latch that holds the belt together is very secure. I have never had the buckle break on me or accidentally loosen. Once it is on and tightened it stays that way, it doesn't loosen if you move around or if you hit the buckle on anything it will only loosen when you lift the latch yourself to manually loosen it. This belt has never failed me in my everyday usage and I highly recommend anyone to buy this belt. There are also options in other colors and buckles but i believe this one is the most classy and to my liking. This is overall a great belt that can be used everyday it is tough, durable, and reliable. If you want a solid belt that you can use all the time then this is it!

I looked at these belts for a while before ordering one. The rachet concept was odd and I'd read several comments about the buckle weight, but I decided to go ahead and order one.The belt and buckle come in a nice box containing the belt circling the raised center area holding buckle. Simple instructions for cutting the belt to fit and attaching the buckle are included. The belt leather is 31mm wide and 4.2mm thick and looks durable. It's stiffer than my old belt, but that will likely change with wear. The back of the belt has length measurements in half inches that make sizing easy. These markings fade very quickly as you wear the belt, so don't wait too long if it needs to be shortened. I just wrapped the belt around me and estimated the amount extra needed for the buckle and noted what the measurement was. Cutting the belt with a heavy pair of scissors is easy enough given you only do it once or twice. The buckle attached easily to the belt by means of a clamp. I was about an inch too generous and had to re-cut the belt. It was easy to gently detach the buckle by lifting the clamp with a flat head screwdriver. The clamp left a deep set of imprints from the clamp's teeth on the back of the belt, but that's to be expected.Wearing this piece is a bit odd at first as the buckle is heavier than I'm used to. Putting it on is simple, just slide the belt end through the buckle until the notches on the back engage with a clicking noise, then tighten as needed. The buckle weight is most noticeable if the belt is worn a little too loose. Which leads to the nicest thing I've found, the "just right" degree of tightness you can achieve. It's amazing how comfortable this belt can be with the 1/4" steps. Taking the belt off is easy, just lift and hold the release lever and remove the belt from the buckle.I've worn the belt every day for a week and haven't noted any wear on the leather or buckle, but I'm not hiking or cutting wood in it either. I've worn the belt with dress and knitted shirts and haven't seen the buckle catch or snag with the shirt tucked or out. The real test is whether the belt will hold up over the long haul, but things are looking good. I have no trouble recommending this belt.

Belt strap with no buckle, incomplete product.*Edit* Contacted the company directly, they emailed back and sent out a new buckle right away. Honest mistake that was handled properly and promptly. The final product is great quality, highly recommended.

This is a very nice, ratcheting full grain leather belt that can be essentially sized to whatever you need. I've always liked these ratcheting belts as they don't require that you buy the right size, and because they don't have an issue with needing to have a hole punched between two other ones to fit comfortably.That material on this belt is fantastic, much better than the $20-$25 ones that are a leather laminate. The buckle is also very classy. It has an interesting mechanical design, where pulling on the outside part of it swings releases the ratchet mechanism.

I am on my second of these belts with the 'vegan leather' option. The first lasted about two years because it became too short. I find that the teeth used to clamp the buckle on the end of the belt actually cut the belt right off after a period of time. When this happens the belt gets about 3/4 inch shorter and, after awhile, too short. Still like the belt style, I may try the real leather option next time.

Love using this belt. Now I don't have to choose between having the belt just a bit tight or loose. Ratchets to just the right position and opens very easily. The inside of the belt started to crack after only a few wears but there can always be a defect. Emailed the company about support, as their website said support was only within the US. Had no problem and they quickly sent me a replacement leather strap. It is not quite the same colour but will do fine.
