RugGear RG730 Dual-SIM-LTE-Outdoor Smartphone 1.3 GHz Quad Core 16 GB

RUGGEAR 730. It looks rugged but it's fit only for the garbage disposal unit! - I was so pleased when I first received it. It looked rugged and exactly what I'd wanted. After a few uses, the on/off button started to play-up. After regular use, I had to press so hard that it left an indentation on my thumb.and on my finger. Finally, it gave out and I had to send it back to RUGGEAR as I couldn't turn it on even. Well, then began the next saga. I was working abroad so I had to package and send it to Germany, which I did. They wanted the model number on a rather odd form you have to complete and attach, which I couldn't give as the brick wouldn't turn on. A month passed and I not no acknowledgement. Many phone calls later, I found RUGGEAR Europe/Germany had changed address and contact details. ... More emails and eventually it was returned by the postal service to Dubai. I resent it. More costs. They this time fixed it and returned to to me. I was again, foolishly, pleased. I must have got a lemon, I figured. Another few months and my alarm didn't go off. I was back to a brick. It won't turn on and it won't charge. I've tried 5 separate chargers (with long connectors) and nothing, nada zilch. So, I again emailed RUGGEAR suggesting this time they might at least pay the postage to Germany from Dubai, as I'd already had to mail it twice. No answer! Maybe they've changed address again, I can't help feeling. Guess what? I hate this phone now. I think my experience may be true of others who have ben tempted by these Chinese made and Europe-labeled phones.They look good and the specs are great. Sadly, they're lousy quality and unreliable. My tip is not to buy from suppliers who appear first world manufacturers but are really putting their badge on low quality goods. Please, Amazon, take them off sale.

Das Perfekte Smartphone für jeden Outdoor Menschen der sich bewusst ist das er kein S6 gekauft hat. Ein äußerlich unzerstörbares Handy. Fast, aber dazu später mehr.Innerlich nicht gerade das S6 wie vorher schon erwähnt. Die Kamera war mein größtes Manko. Die Auflösung der 13MP sind nicht grad die besten. Weshalb ich als Hobby und Gelegenheits Photograph immer mein altes LG L90 dabei hatte. Die Kamera ist um Welten besser als die das damals 540€ „Smartphone“ Die vorinstallierte APP mit Kompass und so weiter stürzte immer ab.Dazu kommt noch das hohe Gewicht. Welches auch wohl der Grund war das es des Öfteren aus meiner Hosentasche fiel. Stürze von Leitern auf Pflastersteine hat es aber problemlos verkraftet. Aber dennoch kam der Tag als ich es erst wieder in Einzelteilen fand. Dem lauten schlag nach den der Mulcher tat ist das RG730 wohl härter als ein Stein.Dennoch bin ich am Überlegen ob es noch mal ein RugGear bei mir wird. Das RG740 Währe handlicher und leichter, besitzt aber auch die 13MP Kamera von welcher ich total enttäuscht war.
