Wild Sage Naturals Sage/Sweetgrass Smudge Wand 9"

My smudge made the trip cross country in good time and came wrapped in 2 nice (reusable!) cloth drawstring bags. As the seller states, it is cut fresh and needs to dry a bit before using. I let it sit several days and then smudged my house.It may not have dried long enough, as it burned without a lot of smoke (but enough to do the job), which is what I'm used to. That said, it smelled good, lasted through the whole house and there's PLENTY left for my next smudging. I have a 1200sq.ft., 3-br house and I estimate this one smudge would easily last me 4-5 go-rounds, probably more. I will definitely be buying more smudges from Wild Sage in the near future...they have several I'm anxious to try!

Cleared the house of negative vibes and added positive energy.

I received this wand and I’m not happy about it. For starters , it’s difficult to light and second it’s extremely messy. The leaves or quills from the sweet grass is falling everywhere. It’s doesn’t burn. It’s just a mess. Sheds everywhere.

Mine doesn’t seem to want to light.

Has a very long smoldering time. It doesn’t smell much like sage, though. What I could see, there’s more sweetgrass than sage in this one. It’s not the most pleasant smell, either. More like burning (regular) grass clippings and weeds. Hence, why I gave it 4 stars.Overall, it’s a great value. Just don’t expect it to smell really nice.I would purchase it again if I had a need for burning sweetgrass and sage at the same time, though.

This sage was extremely old and flakey. It smelled like old weeds... not sage.
