No obstante lo devolví de inmediato, ya que requería realizar modificaciones (cortes y nuevos empalmes) en el cableado del receptor del ventilador en el que iba a ser instalado, uno de origen FARO también, recién comprado). Por cierto, no te canses, el emisor NO ES COMPATIBLE con el receptor que trae tu ventilador FARO, has de instalar, supongo, el receptor del emisor que compres, incluso aunque selecciones las mismas frecuencias en receptor y emisor. No es Plug&Play vamos.Mi idea era encontrar una función que los mandos a distancia de FARO no traen de serie (al menos en el modelo que yo compré, que no era barato precisamente): la temporización, que se apague el ventilador pasado un tiempo pre-programado (WestingHouse sí equipa esta función de serie en muchos de su modelos por cierto). Pero además, al instalar este (cosa que no llegué a hacer) creo que se pierden algunas funcionalidades propias de un mando como el de serie, más simple. Por ejemplo: tiene un ÚNICO botón para seleccionar lo más importante de un ventilador: la velocidad de funcionamiento, las revoluciones que el motor dará por minutos vamos.En un mando sencillo hay tres botones, y bien grandes, para seleccionarla (HI, MED y LOW). En este mando UN SOLO BOTON ha de conmutar las tres (por cierto, ya podrían ser 5 ó 6 las conmutables en lugar de sólo tres, como ofrece FARO de serie en el ventilador que compré -WestingHouse ofrece ventiladores con mandos que permiten seleccionar hasta 6 velocidades-).De esta forma, de noche, a tientas, es difícil, en primer lugar, localizar el botón adecuado para cambiar la velocidad, y también saber qué velocidad está seleccionada, salvo que enciendas la luz de la habitación. Además, luego, hay que "acertar" con la velocidad que se quiere seleccionar, ya que como digo UN solo botón (y no es grande como digo, conmuta las TRES únicas velocidades posibles).A veces, un mando con botones grandes, fácilmente localizables, sobre todo en la noche, que es cuando más se utiliza, es más indicado que otro programable, sí, pero con demasiadas funciones poco accesibles. De poco sirven otra funcionalidades por cierto, como que el ventilador se conecte o desconecte a una determinada hora. qué fácil sería poner tres ó cuatro botones de cuenta atrás (1h, 2h, 3h, 4h...). Hay otros mandos a distancia en Amazon que así lo ofrecen por menos de 20 euros, eso sí, marca de la pava....De otro lado he de decir que las instrucciones del mando no son fáciles de entender, con expresiones que han de interpretarse, ya que parecen haberse redactado por un extranjero. Hay que traducir el español correctamente y poner al lector en contexto. Ni siquiera en inglés se entendían bien. El producto MADE IN CHINA, como casi todo hoy en día.Por lo demás el vendedor, 10/10. reembolsó el importe y me facilitó el transporte del producto, que, como digo, no llegué a instalar.
