It is heavy and metal and seemed waterproof (didn’t test this though). I was really happy with it when I got it and couldn’t wait to put it on. I was happy with the heft as I am very rough on my phones. I really wanted to like this case.I installed the case on my phone per the directions and went on to test it out. It had no bubbles on the screen and seemed well sealed. All was good until I got a call. A minute or 2 into the call I got this awful “feedback”. It was so loud that the person on the other end of the call hung up. It did this on and off for a few days and I thought it was my phone. I figured out that if I switched to speakerphone, it would go away for a min or two, then come right back after I put the phone back up to my ear. After about 4 days, I finally figured out it was the case that was causing the problem. I don’t know why or how this is possible but I have subsequently returned the case and will be going back to lifeproof. ### ⭐⭐ Looks good, but doubt function *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2018* Case is heavy duty. Screen protector is plastic, external speaker volume is very low, hard to hear when using the phone, charge port cover is held on by very small piece of rubber or whatever the case is made from and will break off and get lost, needs more screws to be waterproof. The instructions that come with case say you have the phone in the case to test water seal. Does that sound smart with a $600 phone. Seller says check without phone in case, although direction say it can not be tested without phone! Don’t ask me I doubt it will be waterproof. Case could be very good with a few design changes but that prob won’t happen. Guess I go back to life proof. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow construction was beyond our expectations *by D***Y on Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2018* WOW once receiving this item I along with my son were amazed with the product design and quality, on further inspection we observed how the seal as long as it stays intact would keep the case water resistant.In my work I’m required to travel extensively and my phone takes a real beating I have used an otter box for years without fail but I believe that this case will take that protection to the next level.
