Practical Ideas on Living a Better Life!
I sometimes wonder how many times I have danced around my dream rather than diving straight into it. In your youth, living the dream is many peoples ambition. Later on though, the author says that we lose our ability to listen to our intuition and inner guidance. Therefore we wander around for years existing, rather than living the life we ideally want.I think we all know there's more to life than what we are living, however how on earth do you find it, and then experience it? What I liked about this book is that is gives you some very practical ways to live a better, more fulfilling life. The authors (Matt & Kaileen) base their helpful tips on 7 foundations of health and happiness. They describe in detail the way Matt applies the 7 foundations in his own life. These aren't airy fairly tips, they are helpful and easy to apply if you choose to.So, if you are looking for a book that can enhance your life in many key areas, then this book is for you. It's a good practical book, filled with many inspirational quotes and helpful life changing tips. At times it will challenge what you think about how you currently live, which is a great thing.

Profound and Inspiring
The Belief Road Map will help you cultivate a guiding philosophy that will lead to a fulfilled, happy, and rich life. This book is aligned with many of the beliefs I have about life and the way it’s meant to be lived.Me and Matt share several things in common• A commitment to lifelong learning.• A yearning for significance.• An introspective mindset. He shares his views on ways to build a healthy lifestyle in several areas including physical, mental, and financial. He talks about his daily practices to create fulfillment. One of which is meditation. I meditate often myself and agree that it’s a great self-reflection tool.He shares his wisdom gained through experience as well as learning. He draws reference to several books and teachings that I’m familiar with. One of the parts of the book that resonated with me the most is where the author talks about our “shoulds.” Oftentimes we get caught up in worrying about the things we should be doing as opposed to the things we’re meant to be doing.I never saw the point in working hard to get straight A’s but people told me I should.I’m following my dream of being an author and entrepreneur. But most people believe that I should just settle on finding a safe and secure job and stay there until I’m 65.Instead of worrying about my shoulds I found my purpose and I work everyday towards making my dreams a reality. This book is a great resource that has been useful in moving me closer to my destiny. If you’re a motivated and open minded person this book will help you do the same.

Results that are worth the effort
Can I change? Do I want to change? How do I change? Matt Gersper and Kaileen Elise Sues help me answer those questions with a "Yes"! They lead you down a path that can help you to live happy today based on your personal beliefs and acting on those personal beliefs. This is different than the "must do's" and the "should do's" I grew up with and still influence me to this day. I remember my mother and father setting those expectations. Some of my personal beliefs are similar to the "musts" and shoulds" but some are different. Understanding the difference for myself is not simple but it is very illuminating. While Matt Gersper and Kaileen Elise Sues show us the path, it is not simply checking off a box. The authors are very upfront about the time and effort you will need to complete this path. They guide you step by step through a process that allows you to explore and decide what your "right" answers are for various areas of your life. The last chapter brings the path to a destination. Each of us will need to figure out the final destination based on what we have learned about ourselves. After reading the book, I have come to the realization that I will need to explore more than once to figure out if I picked the right path! I look forward to becoming more self-aware. :)

If You Want to See Happiness, Start With a Look at Yourself
Matt Gersper has written a beautiful and vulnerable sharing of all the highs and lows in his life – it’s a demonstration of how you can use what you already have to get everything you could ever want. The author may not have had the career in football that he dreamed of all his life, but he found a way to apply his natural gifts and abilities to business and so he was wildly successful. After reading this, I can truly understand why no matter the failure or disappointment, he seems to end up with meaning and happiness. This book is a joy to have and I'll go back and reread it whenever I need a reminder that there is truly happiness out there. And it really can only be attained if I start with what I've got right here, in my beliefs and views.

Excellent advice, well written and thought provoking.
A powerful read for young and old The Belief Road Map will prompt you to follow your dreams with insightful exercises, reflection and 7 step life philosophy that is genius! It is up on my notice board now!In this book, Matt Gersper put it in perspective for me immediately when he talked of planning for a vacation - it made me think of the hours and days spent planning a holiday from the initial spark of a travel idea to the planning, scheduling and booking. Compare this to life, or dreams. Why not spend the same amount of time and energy and contemplation planning and following dreams. In Matt's word 'life is also a joinery that requires thoughtful planning.Excellent advice, well written and thought provoking.

On finding significance
The belief road map encourages reflection, the identification of beliefs and priorities and the development of some core 'areas of fitness' one the way to creating more personal significance.Particularly highly recommended for January as empty - or overly optimistic - new year's resolutions start to crumble.Gersper provides guidance for finding one's own deeper set of principles by which to live, followed by just enough next steps to make a good start without overwhelm.
