I bought this splitter to allow viewing of two simultaneously casted Oculus sessions at the same time. For this purpose, it works great. It's important to note, however, as mentioned in the product description, that this device does not pass through audio. When viewing only one channel, however, audio is available through a headphone jack in the front, but not when viewing multiple inputs, nor is the audio ever encoded in the output hdmi signal which can limit its use as a simple hdmi switcher. To get around this, I purchased a separate device to re-encode the audio back into the hdmi and this combo works well. Very useful being able to swap back and forth. I really liked having the split screen option even if it was a bit skinny, just so I could do competitions side by side

Sent it back for replacement and the replacement got lost....
