EIGHTREE Alexa Smart Plug with Energy Monitor, Works with Google Home

The EIGHTREE Smart Plug with Energy Monitoring is a great little gadget that does exactly what it promises. Setup was super quick — it connected smoothly to my Wi-Fi and synced with Amazon Alexa without any hassle. I love being able to control it with voice commands or from my phone, and the energy monitoring feature is a nice extra that helps keep an eye on usage. The compact design means it doesn’t block other sockets, which is a big plus. It’s been really reliable so far, switching on and off instantly every time. For the price, it’s excellent value and a simple way to make any device a bit smarter.

Easy set up. Work well

Works well with teh Smart Life app when I set my Virgin router to 2.4GHz. I found it was easiest to enable both 2.4GHz and 5GHz and use the 2.4GHz on my phone to run the app to connect to this. Can always switch back to 5GHz afterwards. The Smart Life mobile app has a tendency to drop connection to a ridiculously bad and excessive degree but it's easy enough to turn off/on wifi which forces it to reconnect. As hardware products though these are great for controlling device both from the Smart Life App, or the Alexa App or my Echo Dot via Alexa. Been reliable so far, (month or two) and construction quality seem very decent. It is unbelievably useful to have the energy monitoring on a per plug basis which these offer when using the Smart Life app to isolate which devices are using the most power and just how much they are costing, on an ongoing basis.

The product works well, easy to setup, also works with Samsung Bixby. Worth the price.

Easy to bind via small app, easy to program

It connects seamlessly to Alexa, so I can turn on/off lights, fans, and small appliances just by using my voice. Commands are quick and responsive, and it works every time, no delays or glitches. Setup was super easy with the app, and it got linked to Alexa in minutes. The plug feels sturdy and safe, handling everyday use without overheating or problems. The only minor downside is the Wi‑Fi: if the router resets, it sometimes needs a quick reconnect. Otherwise, it’s very reliable. Pros: Works perfectly with Alexa Voice control is fast and accurate Easy setup Solid and safe Cons: Occasional Wi‑Fi reconnect needed Overall, if you use Alexa, this smart plug is great for use, reliable, and convenient way to control your home devices hands-free.

Work really well and relatively easy to set up to parents i phone, so they can control lamps around the house without bending over to get to sockets, very compact size, connectivity with i phone is good..

Integration with Alexa and Google Home is seamless, allowing for hands-free control of various appliances. One of the standout features is the energy monitoring function. It provides real-time data on energy consumption, helping me to be more aware of my usage and identify opportunities to save on electricity costs. This has been particularly useful for monitoring devices that are frequently on standby. Remote control through the smartphone app is another great feature. Whether I'm at home or away, I can easily turn devices on or off with a tap on my phone. The timer and schedule functions add another layer of convenience, enabling me to automate my daily routines.
