After using this comb over a year consistently & having it almost 3. It held up pretty well. I bought this comb for my beard & it's a must have. It glide through my overly cury beard without snagging. There was a weird smile when I 1st got it & getting it wet doesn't help. But the smell fades after several uses through an oiled beard. I've used plastic, wood & carbon fiber combs on my beard. But this comb (or any animal horn) appears to be the best of them. I gave this a 3 stars when I 1st received because of the smell & it had a crack on one of the tines. But after 3 years & a few drops later it never cracked or broke further. So now I give it 4 (the crack still bothers me)

I took a gamble on this comb because the price was so low, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it to be a good quality horn comb. It passed the melt test, and when I filed a spot between the teeth it smelled of sheep. I'm very happy with this purchase! 😊

I use this more for my beard than I do my head but it is a great comb for either. I have a very curly beard at +4" and have a hard time finding combs that have the optimum spacing between the teeth. This are just about perfect. Just wide enough not to get hung up but not too wide so its hardly a comb. (If that makes sense.)Price was great and this company seems top notch. This is my 2nd comb from them (first being a wooden comb with a handle) and they are exceptional quality, by far my most used combs.

Save your money, it's plastic. There is nothing even remotely resembling real horn in this comb. Just another rip off from china.
