Tekline RC1 Active Replacement Cable For Audiotechnica ATHM40X, ATHM50X, ATHM70X - for iPod, iPhone, iPad

This mostly works great with my audiotechnica headphones. The sound is great and the functionality of being able to charge my phone and use headphones at the same time is incredible.However, I noticed the microphone picks up my voice a lot quieter than my standard iPhone headphones. In group calls people have a hard time hearing me while using this microphone… which is the reason I ordered these. Hopefully this gets fixed in future models

Claims that it works for iPhone 8. The box it comes in says it only supports up to iPhone 7. iPhone 8 gives a alert saying this accessory is not supported on the device. Don’t waste your money if you have an iPhone 8 or I am assuming an iPhone X as well.

Got this to use with my audio technica m50x and iPhone X and it works well! I tried wireless headphones but decided that I can't deal with the audio delays and connection dropping. I love the additional charging port. Sound is clear and loud, and it lets me take calls. I wish headphones shared common connectors so I can use this with other headphones.

The cable is a sometimes cable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t . Mostly doesn’t . I’m using an iphone 11 and get an error message that says connected devices not compatible...or something like tha if.

This was the >>second<< faulty cable from Tekline. Avoid!!!

This is a really nice cable to use with my iPhone X and ATH-M50x. The onboard DAC and amp produce very clear sound, even when I tested at high volumes. The overall length of the cable (4ft) is just right for me. I don't like too much slack with my cables. One feature I really appreciate are the beefy reinforcements between the cable and the connector ends. This is usually the point of failure for most headphone cables I have used in the past. I think the Tekline cable will last me a long time.
