It is so bright and colourful! The app works so well and the google home feature is amazing, Very cheap to say it comes with all the features it does and you don't have to pay the extreme prices of high brand bulbs! Very easy to navigate around the app and easy to use and looks beautiful!

This product is not compatible with hue as the product title suggests - do not purchase if this is a requirement! Very disappointed.

A little challenging to set up at first but suddenly really easy and simple to set up! Easily syncs to Google Home (set up in smart life, wait 30 mins then sync to google home app). Really impressed with quality of product.

Firstly website says this is a 7w bulb - wrong it is 10w -says so on box. Therefore far too bright for a my bedside light. Secondly it failed to connect during numerous attempts either on their pathetic app or via Alexa Skill. Just as an aside to connect the bulb has to be in discoverable mode which means rapidly flashing. Made me feel quite sick. Highly dangerous I would have thought to epileptics.Follow up: decided to give it another go and after taking bulb and tablet into same room as router finally got it to connect, then to Alexa. Still can't see how to change colours using Alexa but at least I can switch the light on and off and dim it! Will keep it for now but doubt I would buy another of the same make.

The item comes with a set of instructions but the images are way too small to be of any use. Luckily I managed to work out how to set up the bulb from the text and connect it to my WiFi. It was simple then to connect it with Amazon Echo and control it through Alexa. You can turn it off and on, change colour and brightness etc by giving commands. It's useful too to be able to easily turn the lamp on and off via the app on your phone. I tested this by going outside late at night and turning the lamp on and off a few times, almost giving my wife a heart attack! Great for turning on lights (which you can have on a timer via the app) when you are away from home.Obviously I don't have any idea yet on the longevity of the product but, as long as it continues to work, I think it's great.I should add that I'm in my 50's so not some young whiz who is completely familiar with all this technology. If I can set it up anyone can :)I only knocked one star off because I couldn't see the images in the instructions but maybe it's just my eyesight.

Great light bulb I brought this as I love the way you can change the colour of the bulb using a online app,I struggled with the instructions as the images and instructions are so small I had to figure out myself and found it very hard.Other then that works fine and this bulb is alot cheaper then some I have seen online does the job for me that I wanted.

Normally these tuya 'smart life' (name of the controller app) bulbs come with a white light and an rgb light mode. The more advanced models let you control the warmth of the pure white light as the rgb mode is much less bright. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE MODELS. This one offers only a 'cool white' option white light mode which is quite unpleasant to read in, also pale white light is no good when getting ready for bed.

A little tricky to pair up, you have to be very close to your router. It will remember once the power is disconnected so I had to put it in a light fitting close to my router then move it to the desired location in the house.Since then it has worked flawlessly.
