Internet cuts off quite often, seems that some other reviewers encountered that too. Did not bother testing the USB slots, because I bought this mainly for the wired network connection for my laptop.Bought another Ethernet adapter (different brand) at a third of this price and it works flawlessly...Don't waste your money.

Maybe mine is a dude, but my laptop fails to recognize the display port, nor does provide pass-through power via the Type-C port as advertised. It only provides power via the USB ports. It is therefore next to useless for me. Returning.

I purchased this unit for my travel system. I am on the road frequently to give presentations and training seminars. It never fails, when I need the extra USB port in the hotel or at a presentation site I never have it. This little device gives me a couple extra USB outlets plus the ability to hook into a network.One example was my recent presentation to a group of municipal executives on the topic of municipal civil liability. During the presentation, I needed to connect to an HDTV, a printer, and to the hardwired network outlet. With only two USB ports I would not have had an ability to make the connections without this device. So, it is not only good to have in the hotel room, when I'm using a mouse, drawing tablet and printer to prepare new material for a client while on the road, but it was very helpful at the actual presentation.For me, it not just the convenience having extra USB ports provides but the overall quality of this hub. Unlike some other hubs of this type, there are no visible flaws or bad connections. The case is sturdy, the wired connection is taught and well made, and the connecting plugs work very well. Connections are tight, and I don't get any wiggle or play like with other devices.Best of all, with the small size, it is easy to pack in my travel bag. It also fits well behind the computer or in a cord wrap so that your connection is not easily seen by others. As a routine business traveler, I really like this product and would recommend it to anyone that needs extra connections when on the road or at home.

Fantastic! I've tried a bunch of non-powered hubs and this is the only one I have found that will charge an iPad Air 2. Works perfectly!

I purchased this to used with my HTC Vive. It works very well. Have yet to have any issues with it.

Worked great. Wanted this for my GTX 1080 to connect to LG 34" monitors but the monitor only has 1 DP, 2 x HDMI 2.0 and 2 x Thunderbolt ports. The product worked great and the resolution was native display resolution of 3440x1440 with full audio support.
