Hansons Garden Galvanised Raised Bed

Sturdy been using it for 2 years. Sharp at top so I taped with thick outdoors sticky tape which rounded then off nicely. Just in case someone falls on it. I taped the bottom with copper to deter slugs. Fortunately I think the copper reacted with the metal to produce a bit of rust. Did not stop the slugs. As this year is wet slugs seemed to get in in large quantiles and had to be controlled with slug beer traps.

Great item hard wearing

I was surprised and disappointed when my order arrived to find that the raised bed isn’t at all like the one shown in the photograph advertising the product. Instead on having vertical slats the slats go horizontally and the bed looks entirely different. I would never have bought it if I had realised how it truly looks. Please replace the advertisement photograph with an accurate image as sellers have a duty of care to deliver the right product to customers.

Don’t know what others were like, but mine had sharpe edges and corners on the corner pieces which I cut myself on when putting this together. It is a shame because it looks good in the garden but am concerned about the sharpe corners.

Good quality raised bed and I am looking forward to filling it.
