Left Or Right Side Heated Blue Mirror Glass For BMW E39 E46

Ordered two for my e46. Installed the first one, was very difficult to install but it looks great, the second one cracked the glass while installing. Planning on trying again, quality is great, just a bit too tight for ease of installation.

Product fit great. Mirror quality is good. The dotted line is not actually an indication of a blind spot extender. It is just a consistent mirror all the way across. After seeing the first I bought a second for the other side.

Clips are too tight, could not install on E39. Old mirror glass (original to car) snapped right back into place as it is supposed to.

As many have mentioned, the clips are too tight. The measurements are identical, but the clip design between OEM and even other aftermarket mirrors are different. These clips are too tight and too shallow.I was able to install one mirror after trimming down the clips a bit, but it took about a half hour of messing around to get it on there. The other side shattered almost instantly. In comparison, the aftermarket mirror glass that's on the car (and the OEM glass) I can remove AND reinstall in literally 5 seconds.I'd also like to note the glass was already separating from the mount on the one I was able to install right out of the box.EDIT: After being replaced under warranty, the passenger side fell off again, and shattered when I tried to reinstall it.

2001 540i, I had to use a dremel to cut some of the plastic out to make it fit. A bit of a pain but, in the end, the mirror looks good and is solidly built. In hindsight I would have purchased this item elsewhere.

Perfect fit and I like the outside wide view part.
