I love the fact that it's clear
I've been buying the clear backpacks for a while. This one is a little different from the version I bought a few years ago.I love the fact that it's clear. It enables me and the kids to instantly see if something is in it (did a particular book come home? Notes from school? Assignments stuffed in the backpack instead of going in the right binder?). My son has Aspergers and struggles with organization. This backpack doesn't solve all his problems but it provides a lot of information with minimum effort.Things I'm not as keen on: the telescoping handle has locks on the side so you can lock the handle in the up or down positions. My son insists on using it which means that when I want to put it up or down quickly I have to flip two levers first. The old handles didn't flop down o their own. They stayed up when you put them up and stayed down when you put them down. So to me the levers are a waste of time. The one thing I can think of for this being a good feature is if you want to put the handle up part way and prevent further expansion - like for a very small child. But my son is short 10 and my daughter is a small 8. Neither of them need the handle to be shorter. It's a little too short for me at 5'6".The other thing I wish is that it still had side pockets (whether plastic or mesh) for a water bottle. I miss that feature a lot.But overall I continue to love the clear wheeled backpacks because they help me see whether things I've put in them have been turned in and what's inside at a glance. Significantly reduces backpack surprises.

My 7 year old loves it.
It serves it's purpose. It's perfect for the elementary/ middle school kid. I wish it did have side pockets and most importantly that the wheels where sturdier, they don't roll very smoothly. I love that I don't have to ask if he packed his sweater anymore because I can see everything in it. The plastic is sturdy but it's hard to get the crease out so that it can stand without tipping. I recommend packing something bulky and letting it sit for a day or 3 to let the plastic unfold.

3rd Purchase
My 10 and 8 yr old girls really like this backpacks and love decorating to personalize with craft cloth letter stickers, we cover with modge podge to seal over. The bag is spaceous and sturdy. I order this same backpack about every 2 yrs after wear and tear and don't mind since the school does require clear bags for safety. Item pops down from bottom to stand on ground. Make sure it snaps. This has been the only good size sturdy rolling bags I have found too bad it only comes in black. Wish the handle would go up a bit higher as my 10 yr old will soon outgrow.

Working well for moderate use
We have taken this bag on a couple long weekend air trips. Wheel use is only good for a child or short adult. Bag is sturdy enough for carryon, but I don't think it will stand up to much abuse so I wouldn't check it. No problems with security. Found it handy to be able to see where everything is. Will continue to be primarily my 6 year olds travel bag. Hope it lasts, not because it was expensive, but because I hate when things end up in the landfill.

not happy
My daughter was so excited to get this rolling backpack. The amount of books she has to carry was hurting her back. The item lasted until last week (week before Thanksgiving) when she told me that one of the wheels was not rolling good any more and the straps had torn off at the bottom so she couldn't even put it on her back. The wheels are too small and it looks like they got worn by the concrete. One of the leg props fell off within a couple of weeks too. This is not a strong enough backpack to be put thru the day to day travel of a 6th grader. I wonder how they tested this item before they started selling it. I would not buy this again and it makes me nervous about other products that look the same. I thought for $30 that is would have lasted thru the school year at least instead of just 1 month.

Everything is all good about the backpack
Everything is all good about the backpack. However, the zip needs to be a little stronger or bigger because I have two backpacks with wheels that has loosen up the head zipper. Now, I am ordering two more clear backpack with wheels. This time if the head zipper is loosen up again or the zip is not working properly, I will not going to order anymore.

Good bag for the price.
It seems to be holding up well to my daughters everyday use. I'm sure her school books weigh 30 .lbs or more total. I really like the fact that the end of the shoulder straps can be Velcroed to a spot without dragging the ground. Also there are two pegs on the bottom that keep it from falling over and the bottom off the ground.

Back pack looks okay, arrived with tears and holes in clear plastic
Looks okay. Handle needs to be longer. Biggest problem is that the backpack arrived with several holes and tears in the clear plastic so we have to sent it back. Basically the bag was crushed flat for shipping and where the plastic was creased it tore holes in the plastic. This suggests it is not a very sturdy item. Still considering whether to order a new one and hope it arrives undamaged... Or not.
