Not the one for you
Dead on arrival, I tried multiple batteries in both configurations. Very disappointing however I am glad to know now that this is not a reliable penlight for nursing school. Maybe better to buy the multi packs of this light and hope one works. I'm going to buy one at the local medical supply store after two attempts with different penlights via amazon :(

Don't waste your money
Bought this and it stopped working within 48 hours of receiving it. I changed the batteries and it still didn't work. I was able to monkey with the connection wires and it would come on, but then would stop working again. I think it is just poorly put together. Ticked I bought this.
