The Homeopath in Your Hand

There's a good chance that Lisa's books will make you fall in love with homeopathy. She has a truly unique way of condensing information and making it both accessible and compelling. I find myself picking up this book and reading it just for fun. But of course, it's super handy when looking up symptoms and so easy to use in the moment when you need it. The layout and illustrations are awesome. Five stars. LOVE it.

I’m not one for writing reviews, but I couldn’t put off writing one for Lisa Strabcs homeopathy Heals book any longer. As a home prescriber I am always on the look out for new and interesting books to further my knowledge and understanding of homeopathy and this book is an absolute gem. At first glance I felt it may have been too simple for me, but how wrong could I be. The use of “HEALS” instead of “CLAMS” to repertorise is genius and so much easier to remember and apply in practice. Each remedy described is made clear with the use of visual prompts and lists that easily stick in the mind. The section on combination remedies and how to make them if you’ve run out is so helpful, as is the simple and clear dosage guide. This is now my go to book for a quick remedy check and I have even purchased other copies for all my children. Now they can use their kits independently, without calling me constantly, as it has given them the confidence to choose their own remedies.

If you are new to or already have a knowledge of homeopathy, you don’t want to miss out on this book! From homeopathy basics introduction and “how to” Heals method, to excellent summarization of most used 77 remedies & combination mixes, beautifully presented graphically, key symptoms and uses etc. This book is a must have! Very useful and small enough to take on travels!
