It’s exactly as described and as with all of the Haynes “Spaceflight” and “Aerospace” titles, this Skylab book is well written, loaded with detail, photos, diagrams and charts etc.Book was as new and as “fresh” as anything you’d buy off the shelf or order as “new”.Very slightly damaged (small gouge on edge of hard cover) due to postal service. Have dropped a line to seller, but it’s really not their fault at all, hence five stars.Extremely pleased with this book.

I just got copy of this latest volume in Haynes space manuals and very pleased with it.This is, as usual with Haynes, packed with great detail about history of Skylab from conception to eventual demise over Australia. It packed with photos and diagrams covering all aspects of the space station including three missions to it between 1973-74.I must admit I enjoyed range of space manuals, but been wondering for sometime when Skylab got deserved recognition in history of spaceflight from Haynes. Pleased that time has now come.Well done again to David Baker. He has produced another fine piece of work, and definitely one that anyone interested in US space programme should purchase.It is worth its 204-pages.

I'm collecting nearly all the space-related Haynes manuals. They are well written, researched and illustrated, and cover most of the essential details - we nitpickers always like to spot overlooked info. This book is another excellent addition to the Haynes series, covering how the badly damaged Skylab was rescued and turned into a valuable orbiting laboratory that was probably much better value for money than the white-elephant, political-vanity project known as the ISS.

Die Haynes-Bücher sind gut recherchiert und bieten immer wieder neue Einblicke in bekannte Themen. Hier wird vor allem auf die technische Aspekte und Entwicklung der Skylab-Raumstation beleuchtet. Die wissenschaftlichen Missionen Skylab 2-4 kommen etwas zu kurz weg. Für Fans der Raumfahrt in zeiten von Apollo eine gute und günstige Ergänzung - Empfehlenswert !

Ouvrage très complet sur la Station spatiale SKYLAB comprenant l'historique, la conception, le descriptif détaillé de tous les composants internes et leur fonctionnement. Dommage qu'il ne soit qu'en anglais et il manque un beau plan 3 vues pour maquettistesA conseiller comme tous les autres ouvrages de cette collection.
