Hand-Stitched Crazy Patchwork: More than 160 techniques and stitches to create original designs Flexibound – 9 Mar. 2016

I borrowed this book several times from the library, but decided I'd be better to have my own copy. It's a brilliant book with lots of ideas for adding embroidery and embellishments to crazy patchwork, although the methods could be used for other projects also. The instructions are very clear and well-illustrated and show how to make useful or decorative items like a Christmas stocking, wall-hanging, storage basket cover etc, but once the technique is mastered the options are endless. My only criticism is the templates at the end of the book which have to be resized to give the correct measurements. This is always difficult and I'd much prefer them to be presented at full-size. In this case the templates have to be resized to specific inches or millimetres, rather than by a percentage. The template for the Christmas stocking shown in the book and measures 4.5 inches x 3.5 inches (approx.) needs to be resized to 11 inches x 17 5/8 inches (millimetre equivalents are also shown).

THIS BOOK IS SO LOVELY, I HOPE I CAN PRODUCE SOMETHING AS WONDERFULL AS THE BOOK SHOWS WHAT IS POSSIBLE.

No issues with packing and delivery, both as expected, but the book itself is a disappointment. I had hoped for a book all about techniques and ways of creating designs from scratch,.... but a good half of the book is about how to copy her main designs quite slavishly. Nice book, lovely colour photos but not what I expected

Packed full of Embroidery techniques,stitches and more. A real Gem of a book.

Lovely book. It’s a pleasure to open this book, it’s full of useful tips and has excellent pictures.

Great book, good idea's for easy sewing

I consider myself an advanced patchwork and quilter and an intermediate embroiderer and wanted to learn more about crazy patchwork which always looks so beautiful. Despite my experience I found the stitch descriptions quite confusing with very limited pictures. You can get far better tutorials on pinterest. Really quite disappointed with this book.
