So far crappy. Remote has a very hard time connecting. Manual is terrible and not helpful. Came with Amazon Video App but keyboard does not come up so that I can enter my information. I will give it 30 more minutes of trying to figure it out. Otherwise I will be returning it. If I end up wrong, I will update my review. Should have went to Best Buy. Update: I was able to easily connect it to my Mac but the lag is so bad that a movie is unwatchable. Returning. When I purchased it the reviews were fantastic. But when I checked today, terrible reviews. I guess I can't trust Amazon reviews any longer. So sad.

Product used. NOT NEW. VERY DISAPPOINTED. ITEMS OPENED AND FULL WITH FINGERPRINTS AND SCRATCHES.

As a projector with an external source it's fine. If you try to use the built in Android OS your in for a world of pain. No google play store, very limited with android 4.4 and it will crash the system and application constantly. Very unstable and so very slow it's a pain. Returned immediately after one hour of trying to use.

Picture quality is far less than advertised. Remote doesn't work half the time.

The remote does not work. I keep trouble shooting but it says hold it closer to the device- still no action. Frustrating.

When we first purchased, it had GREAT reviews. Funny that I go back now and it is 1.5 stars. It is not usable for business, as the room has to be completely dark to see anything being projected. We have tried multiple times messing with lights to get it so even a small room can see, but it just doesn't work.

It's hard to fathom that the glowing reviews for this product are real. This thing is a total turkey. I was expecting a clunky interface because it's an off brand that I've never heard of. I was also expecting a decent and bright picture quality. What we got instead was TERRIBLE picture quality. Impossible to use settings to clear up. It was completely washed out even in a pitch black room. Really bad contrast ratio beyond the point of normalcy. Sending this clunker back. Don't buy.

I purchased this projector based on reviews and in particular one very positive video review of the earlier TouYing model D2 by Brett Bristow “Tech with Brett”. I decided to pay the extra hundred dollars and upgrade to the M9 projector for the extra 500 lumen and a few other new features. This sleek, great looking, projector arrived Friday. It looks like it wants to be a leading, top quality product.However after 3 days of spending several hours each, I am totally unable to set it up. Just out of the box:• The lens does not have a cover.• There is no carrying case.• The remote is dead. It does not work at all. Nothing in the instruction manual explains whether or not there is a battery in the remote. There is no way to open the remote, so I assume that it is not meant to be opened. So I guess when it stops working you have to throw it out by a new one?• Fortunately one of the new features is control buttons on the top of the unit which I used to navigate, but also to no avail in setting up or operating the unit.• The projector will not pair with either my macbook or my iOS iPhone. I tried via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and airplay, USB and HDMI cables. The most I was able to do was to project a choppy video image for a few seconds and then it freezes before it disappears. The sound quality is at best intermittent. Forget about streaming anything, even existing videos stored on my computer don’t work properly with either my ios or macbook. BTW, all my video and graphic drivers are up to date.• It does not hold a charge.• The instructions were very ambiguous. No instructions for how to use keystone correction. There is no section in the manual for troubleshooting. Even the tripod is not intuitive nor even mentioned in the manual and I still can’t get it to stabilize enough to hold the unit.• There is no Contact Support Section, and no written warrantee. It would be helpful and cost-effective for the manufactuer to at least have a detailed YouTube video.I am no stranger to projectors and currently own three others one for presentations, a short throw for set design and one for home theater. I wanted to like this product, but lesson learned about buying something without tech support.
