Works as advertised. I mistakingly thought the product did not include its own driver, so I installed a Realtek OEM 8032BU driver for it. It worked, but dropped connection at times. Later I learned that the correct Realtek driver IS installed onboard the device itself, but it appears as a virtual CD ROM that needs to be interacted with manually for it to install its own special variant of Realtek driver. Once I did that, it's been working perfectly for over a week. Very happy with it.

Failed after a few months

This usb WiFi device more than doubled my WiFi speed without changing my internal card!

It's a nice looking USB WiFi 6 dongle and I got it to replace my slower dual antenna USB AC1300 WiFi adapter. It was pretty much plug and play and worked immediately, except... it wouldn't connect to the internet via my WiFi 6 router for some reason. Connection via my other WiFi 5 routers worked fine, and my USB AC 1300 WiFi adapter can connect through my WiFi 6 router with no trouble. I've tried numerous times since I got it almost 3 months ago and again just before writing this review, but it still doesn't work as my WiFi 6 adapter. Thus unfortunately, a 3 star because it does work as a WiFi dongle, just not as a WiFi 6.

After building a computer for my wife to use in her office, I repurposed an old WIFI card. Little did I know that it wasn't going to give her the speeds that she really needed. So I ordered this adapter. Usually, I'll just plug stuff in and figure it out myself, but I thought, I'll follow the directions this once. That was a big mistake. The directions first tell you to plug it into the computer, then install the software form the disk. There was no disk.... There is also a website listed under the image of the drivers that you could download the software for the adapter. I tried going to that site and it doesn't work. It's literally not a supported site anymore. After conducting a search online for the company and any other drivers, I was directed to the MSI website for an adapter with the same model number but the thing looked totally different. So while I was waiting for the driver software to download on the old card, I thought, "why not just unplug the adapter and plug it in again?" As soon as I did that, an option to open a folder popped up with the correct software. After installing this and disabling the old WIFI card in Windows, I did a speedtest and I had triple the speeds for the computer. The moral of the story, don't follow the directions and just plug it in AFTER the computer is already booted up and logged in. At least for this adapter.

This wireless adapter fixed my entire issue with latency on virtual desktop I'd usually play with no wired connection and sometimes I'd get unbearable stuttering and even if I crank the bitrate to the lowest it still stutters but after pairing this with a wifi 6 mesh I can play games with no stuttering at all keeps a stable latency , definitely would recommend this for people that play vr games in airlink or virtual desktop assuming you have a wifi 6 mesh or router.

This is a great adapter for WiFi and brings in plenty of signal.
