Very detailed, good quality, perfect for small hands
My three-year-old loves this excavator. It's on the small side, but perfect for small hands. The design and moving parts are very intricate and detailed, adding interest for adults or older kids who might want it for an interest piece. Time will tell how well it will last, but it's doing great so far. Very nice toy. Would buy this brand again.

Incorrect Headline
The headline for this excavator uses the word 'large.' The excavator is aproximately 6 inches long - maybe 8 inches if you extend the bucket arm. The headline should read 'miniature.' Otherwise it's great and I'm sure my granson will lovei t!

Highly detailed, replica quality toy
I suppose one of the best parts of being an adult is that you don’t have to beg mom and dad for that cool bulldozer toy you want. So yeah, I didn’t buy this for my son, or my nephew, or whatever. I bought this Qcar Drill Excavator toy for me because, well…I wanted it. I mean, look at this thing! The detailing on it is insane. So much so, I’d say it qualifies more as a “scale replica” than merely a “toy”. The joint and pistons are fully articulated, the treads are completely functional, and the excavator on the arm is loaded with a spring. If that weren’t enough, this baby is made of actual DIE-CAST METAL. For anyone who collects scale replicas, you know how important that is. It means it’s more durable than your average replica, and molded with a much higher level of detail. What gets me is how utterly affordable this thing was. Considering how high quality it is, $22.99 is a steal. The only negative thing I’d say about this Qcar dozer toy is one of the product photos here on Amazon. It’s the one showing a toddler playing with it. The problem? This one photo is VERY misleading and gives the impression the toy is a lot bigger than it really is. As the label in the description says, the Excavator toy is 1:60 scale. This is a common scale for hobbyist miniature figures, so I knew what I was getting. Someone not aware of this, though, could easily be deceived.

Great little roller
I got this for my ten year old son to add to his collection of heavy equipment toys for construction! He loves building roads in his sand piles and a roller was just what he needed to smooth out his newly constructed roads! It’s the same scale as the rest of his other pieces of equipment. It’s made of metal that makes it durable and holds up well. It moves and rolls around smoothly and easily. Looks realistic. Would make a great gift for a kid who loves heavy equipment!

Solid, small, detailed tracked excavator
You can tell when you first open this track excavator that it is really good quality. It feels heavy in the hand, has tons of small details, and the 360° and up and down movements are smooth. I own a couple of trucks from this brand, and all are excellent quality.I knocked a half star off of this excavator because the tracks are very difficult to move. Yes they do roll, but only on high friction certain surfaces and you must use a lot of downward force to make it happen. My 3-year-old struggles with it, and he finds it a little bit frustrating. I knocked another half star off because the track itself comes off pretty easily. So you end up with a black loop somewhere in your house that you now have to figure out what it belongs to. In fairness, it's very easy to put back on, which also means it comes off pretty easily. The excavator scoop is great for use in dirt, kinetic sand, (and play-doh if you are extremely patient and brave.) It's a huge hit with my toddler, despite its small issues. I believe this is a much better quality truck than some of the cheap stuff that you see in the pharmacy or miscellaneous stores.

Die-Cast Metal 1:60 scale Excavator
Reading the product page when I ordered this, there was no indication if this product was die-cast, plastic or something else? I was thrilled when it arrived and it was Die-Cast! I've included pictures of the box showing this, and figure this will get updated at some point!?The bucket is a very hard plastic (a magnet will not stick to it but will to other parts) and is a dark metallic gray color. The track pads are plastic and while they do rotate forward/backward it takes a little pressure to move them. They will rotate independently of each other. The car body/base as a whole pivots all of the way around letting you dig where you please (see pictures). The Crowd Cylinder and the Boom Cylinder provide movement while the Bucket Cylinder is for looks. The boom moves up and down and so does the stick. The side links also move and this moment is what moves the bucket. My child calls this the "tiny excavator" and it's been hauled everywhere. It's been very durable and loved! This is recommended for ages 8+ and my youngest is the one who LOVES this most. It's a great toy and I am told about the parts all of the time! I now know more than I ever cared to know about an excavator! LOL

Well Made...Younger Kids Love it Too!
I got this for my 3 year old grandson and he loves it.He has been fascinated with cars, trucks and construction equipment since he was 2. Probably from watching so many cartoons with cars and trucks...This toy is sturdy and well built and highly recommended, even for younger kids.

Nice toy for a child
This is a very well-built toy. It's diecast so that adds to the quality. Most children who like construction equipment will find this to be a welcome addition to their toybox. Unfortunately, the one I got had the track off the unit and the gear wheel floating inside the package. I was lucky to find the pin that holds it to the toy. The pin is roughly 3/16 long. It is slipped into the gear wheel and held by pressure. No glue to use as it is plastic against metal. For this issue, I only gave four stars. Aside from that one hold back I believe this is still a great toy. Overall it is above many toys in its class. I really find the articulating arm of the Drill Excavator to be impressive. The tracks are not very functional yet not terrible. This toy is made in China. It comes with all the necessary warnings toys should include. It appears they covered all the bases. I would buy this again simply based on the quality it is. I would also recommend it to others who want to give a toy to a child that is a little better than what is currently available.
