Flashing Brake Light Deceleration Warning for Honda, Vulcan, KLR, VTX & Others.

Piece 'a cake to install... just swap bulbs. The effect is real security for the rider, knowing that the vehicles behind will definitely see the flashing brake light. Even works with a CANbus equipped motorcycle. When you think about it you will never know how many times it has saved your butt. I've used one of these Tailblazers on 4 or 5 BMW motorcycles and I've never had as much as a close call in over 10 years. And the bulbs last a long long time. Besides, you get a spare bulb that easily plugs in if the original burns out (mine never have). Highly recommended.

I had a little trouble getting the bulb into the socket because the socket is deep but the "gold" rim is hard to grip when trying to press it into the hole to twist into place. It needs to be redesigned somehow to add some notches or something around the rim because the bulb globe is not there to grip to help with this. However, after using a pair of pliers to press and turn it into place it works perfectly. Much respect from cars following me allowing lots of distance when I start slowing for lights, etc. Nice and bright and does catch attention.

Pros: Really gets the attention of people behind you when it flashes. I had 1 guy tell me at a stoplight that he thought that there was something wrong with the light.Cons: Expensive compared with a conventional bulb for about $9 my bike. Also, since it is a halogen bulb, you should not touch it with your bare hands. The oils in your skin will cause the bulb to burn out sooner - cover you fingers with a clean cloth when installing.

The media could not be loaded.  Works as described. But it does flash a lot. A little quicker and shorter would be perfect. I would give 5 stars but I did not get my extra bulb.

Recommend you wear rubber gloves never touch the bulb with your hands the oil will shorten the life.Easy-to-use and install works well as specified.Make sure your bike is compatible with it.

Awesome safety product for my motorcycle. Super easy plug and play install and it works as promised. Can't think of a easier way to make a motorcycle more noticeable to those approaching from the rear. Item came ahead of time too!

Bulb burned out within a month, second bulb bulb received with order lasted just over 5 weeks!!

Updated Review:I purchased another bulb and it turns out it was much easier to install than I thought. My first bulb I was pushing in much too far. The little nub on the bulb shaft is much closer to the end and doesn't need to be pushed in so far. Bulb works great so farThis was very difficult to install. There is really no easy way to grip it to push in and turn. After multiple frustrating attempts I tried pliers and snapped it in half. Pliers apparently are not a supported method of install. $70 down the drain
