Best tea ever
I suppose I'm old fashioned in my preference for loose leaf tea.....I hate tea bags! If loose tea was what my Mother liked then it's good enough for me.....I'm in my seventies. However it has become increasingly difficult to buy loose leaf tea unless you go to the well known High Street shop where they have a bewildering selection, some of them revolting! In the end it became impossible to find Typhoo. I had bought up the entire stock from a small supermarket in Wiltshire and although there was a use by date on the packets, that is only a guide, not written in stone, and the tea is fine even a little out of date. Coming to the end of my last packet of 15 and searching fruitlessly in every shop I could find, I had a brainwave and typed "Typhoo Loose Tea" into Amazon and, lo and behold I found it and at a good price too. It didn't worry me that I had to buy in bulk.....12 packets.....which will last me a while.....I'm a huge tea drinker!I think the moral of this story is if you can't find what you're looking for in the shops then try Amazon. You never know, you might just be lucky! Thoroughly recommended.

Powdery
I was expecting leaf tea but it turns out that it's powdery; not much coarser than the tea in a tea bag. It does have a little more flavour than a tea bag though.

Very disappointing.
Like other reviewers I prefer leaf tea, particularly Typhoo due to its lower fluoride content. This, however, is not LEAF tea! It looks more like granules and dust, and doesn't taste much better than it looks. I've been forced into using tea bags.

I buy these for my grandparents as they cannot get them in the shops anymore. My grandma cannot bear teabags and has always preferred Typhoo over any other loose leaf tea. It's worth every penny!
