His 2 Greatest Albums on 1 CD! Long Overdue!
Finally, somebody got the idea to reissue these 2 great albums on 1 CD! These are 2 of the greatest Easy Listening albums of all time. They are right up at the top of my list with albums such as 1961's "Wheels & Orange Blossom Special" by Billy Vaughn and his orchestra. I got my first copy of Turn Around Look At Me when I was 3, and have gone thru 4 copies of this LP since! (Not to mention 1 eight track tape). I got I Love How You Love Me on LP When I Was 8 and I love it just as much as Turn Around... Now if only the folks at Collectables Records would push Universal to let them reissue Billy Vaughn's Dot Albums On CD...

but rather some group attempting a rather poor imitation of the Conniff singers and orchestra
In my judgement the artists for this CD are obviously NOT the Ray Conniff Singers, but rather some group attempting a rather poor imitation of the Conniff singers and orchestra. Good songs but VERY disappointing performance. I have many Ray Conniff Albums and CDs, and this is not them! The CD cover has a picture of Conniff and a short bio of him, which is obviously there to deceive potential buyers. Ray Conniff recorded for the Columbia Record Company, whose logo is on legal copies of his music; this CD logo is shown as "Collectibles" with a website of www.oldies.com. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this purchase and will attempt to return it for a refund.

Classic Ray Conniff from the late 60's!
This CD was another example of the wonderful sounds of Ray Conniff of the late 1960's and two of his original albums. Wonderful arrangements in the typical Conniff style. I can't get enough of listening to this either with the chorus singing or humming to the musical instruments! Enjoy!

Two enjoyable Conniff albums from the sixties.
I guess that I have been listening to these two albums for about 45 years. Putting them together, for some reason I have always rated the 'I Love How You Love Me' album higher than 'Turn Around Look At Me'. There are great late sixties songs on both, but in my own view the 'I Love How You Love Me' album has the stronger repertoire. 'Those Were The Days', My Special Angel' and 'Abraham, Martin and John' could have all been written for The Ray Conniff Singers. They weren't, of course, but Ray once again showed his great talent and ability to make songs ' his own' through his stylish arrangements. His arrangement of 'Abraham , Martin and John' is outstanding. The true emotion of this song is perfectly conveyed in glorious harmony by the 25 singers. There may have been a few tears in the recording studio! Ray always did a great job on songs that offer hope to humanity.

A suberb collection of songs.
First class service again from Amazon. A suberb collection of songs on this CD. IF you can only afford 1 CD, buy this one. Most people who remember Ray Conniffs Band, all his countless LP's in the 60's and up to 1979 will enjoy this CD. I am 100% confident of this, it really is very nice to listen to, most people of the Conniff age will know most of the songs on here. Amazon are offering you a gift at the price and I would say without any shadow of a doubt BUY IT. TRUST AMAZON EVERYTIME FOR A FAIR DEAL!
