It came fully charged, and I was so pleased with how much power it has. I would definitely buy it again!

THIS FLASHLIGHT IS WITH OUT A DOUBT THE BEST I HAVE EVER USED. I REALLY LIKE THE DIGITAL LED LETTING ME KNOW THE EXACT AMOUNT OF CHARGE AVAILABLE. THE BEAM IS QUITE BRIGHT AND HAS SEVERAL FLASHING FUNCTIONS.

Flashlight seems to work fine. Lowered my rating because this company’s ad on Amazon claims they have 24/7 help. I COULD NOT FIND THEIR WEBSITE ANYWHERE!!!!! There was no information flyer included with the flashlight providing this information,For this reason, in my opinion, this ad is dishonest.

This is one of those lights which is focused (pun intended) on maximizing measured brightness rather than usability. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, or this light, but just be aware that the lens concentrates the light to give the most "brightness" rather than the most "usable light". As a result, there is a sharp cutoff at the edge of the beam, and VERY noticeable color fringing at the edges of the light pattern at all zoom levels. With that said, there is a *LOT* of light coming out of this thing! I don't for a moment believe the 250,000 lumen number but it was definitely brighter than some more name-brand "1000 lumen" lights I had to compare with.There's some degree of auto-dimming going on, at least as the battery runs down - I can see a marked brightness difference between "maximum" after the light has been on for a couple of hours and "maximum" when turning it off and immediately back on again. This thing gets noticeably warm to the touch, so I don't know if this is an artifact of thermal protection, regulation, or what. Again, not a big deal, just something else to be aware of.One place there's absolutely no exaggeration going on is, surprisingly enough, the battery itself. This light takes a standard 21650 (which accounts for the size of the light body) and I measured its capacity at just over 5000mAh as claimed. (Many lights in this price band overstate the capacity of their batteries - some exorbitantly so.) The light will charge through the USB-C port, and does some degree of communication - meaning it works with USB-C PD (Power Delivery) power supplies, while many "USB-C" devices only work with a USB-A to USB-C cable. It only seems to use 5V and I didn't see more than around 1.65A of current draw, so this would be fine from a 10W adapter, but conversely it would be nice if it were capable of faster charging with a larger capacity power supply. Interestingly, while the light can be turned on with a charger connected, the total current draw actually goes DOWN. The green lightning bolt indicator stays on, and the percentage charge does go up slowly, so you CAN charge the light while in use. (It appears the lower current draw and charging speed might be related to the temperature of the light when operating but I couldn't completely prove this.)As a power bank, I'd classify this as a last-resort option for most folks. The USB-A port shuts off after less than 10 seconds of no-load, so make sure you've cabled everything up and plug your cord into the light as the last connection you make. Even when operating, it barely supplies 0.5A with the voltage dropping quickly and a maximum of a bit over 2.2W - so you won't be charging a modern smartphone from this. You cannot power the USB-A port while charging from the USB-C port, but you can power it while the light is on.The zoom head was slightly "sticky" upon receipt, but smoothed out almost immediately with use. The included lanyard is quite nice, having beads, cord-locks, and a quick-release attachment - all of which is great given the size of this light. One oddity is that the lanyard comes threaded through a hole in the base "vertically" such that the cord prevents the light from standing up steadily. Simply detaching and threading it "horizontally" through two holes in the base (see photo) makes the light *MUCH* more stable. I do wish the power meter could be displayed without turning on the light - it's a great feature while the light is in use, but it would be nice to do a quick check of power remaining when the light is off. Illuminating the power switch is a nice touch I suppose, but there's never any doubt that this thing is on, so a luminescent power button to make it easier to find in the dark would likely have been more useful.Overall this is a fine light for someone desiring a lot of light and/or a physically large light (think almost old-school 2D Maglight) so I don't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who's aware of its limitations.

I'm still searching for the perfect flashlight. This one comes as close as any.If your primary goal is finding a flashlight that's super bright but compact, your search is over. This one is as bright as any of my brightest -- and I own dozens.This one is also very sturdy and well-made. A good indicator is the zooming head. Cheaper lights are made from pieces not machined well, so the head has a lot of slop. Not this one. This one's head remains snug as it zooms from wide to a narrow beam.The narrow beam maintains its circular shape -- another sign of a quality light. Cheaper, and even some expensive, lights throw a beam shaped like their diode when zoomed to a narrow beam. And the wide beam is very broad, wide enough for large groups or for rapidly scanning large swaths of bush.The only thing I don't like is the programming. Better lights allow you to turn them off with a single short-press of the power button after they've been on more than a few seconds, without having to long-press or cycle through the various light modes. At least this one needs only a bit more than a second to power off, but still, it's a needless nuisance. And, this one at least remembers its last mode, so it comes back on in that mode. All-in-all the programming is good but could be better.I was gonna give this four stars, but after writing my review I realize this is better than I thought. My only complaint is not being able to power this off with a quick press. So close to a home run, but that makes this deficiency even more glaring.
