More Spice Than Pumpkin, Interesting Flavor Overall, Better Than Mot Flavored Coffees
This coffee has a wonderful aroma upon opening the bag. Many flavored coffees do. Sometimes the actual taste of the coffee is as wonderful as the aroma and sometimes the strong aroma is an indication that the brewed coffee will have an overpowering unnatural flavor and a chemical taste. Which would this be?In the realm of flavored coffees, this was better than most. There is more of a "spice" flavor to it than a pumpkin flavor. The spice is certainly noticeable but not overpowering. I wouldn't call it great but it is far better than just tolerable. For a flavored coffee, I'd call it pretty good.Sometimes with flavored coffees when the baked in flavor is not so good and even when it is, it can provide the opportunity to create a tasty and unique coffee by adding some sort of syrup or flavored creamer to it. This one benefited from a Vanilla creamer. A hazelnut syrup also created a nice unique sort of flavor. The list price for this is about $30 for 12 ounces which translates into $40/lb. While I think this is a pretty good flavored coffee, there is absolutely no way I'd spend $40/lb for it. You can get some really good regular coffee and add whatever you want to it for $40.Overall, the coffee is good and better than I expected and while I understand this is a bit of a niche or holiday product, there is no way I could justify spending $40/lb for it.

Good coffee
I enjoyed this coffee. If you don't like pumpkin coffees you may want to look elsewhere, but if you do you will enjoy it.

Disappointed
I love LifeBoost coffee, just not this one.It is expensive for such a small bag. The only reason I decided to purchase it because it was on sale. Thinking since it’s LiftBoost it’s gotta be good! It was not.I do not like the taste of it, to me it is off. In order for it to taste good I have to add a bunch of stuff, I don’t want to have to do that.I was looking forward to it when it arrived, however it left me disappointed.I think I’ll stick with my regular LifeBoost coffee.

Tastes good. Resealable bag is very well designed! Missing information on the package and listing.
Okay, first thing first. This coffee tastes good. Is it a "pumpkin spice" flavor or a "some other spice" flavor as one reviewer complained? I'm not experienced enough to know! But it's a tasty coffee, as I made it (concentrated pour-over, with milk and sugar). UPDATE: It also made a very good cold-brew that definitely reminded me of pumpkin spice. The packaging is very well designed, easily opened and resealed. The beans look and smell very good. I didn't see any visibly defective beans. The label doesn't give any details, nor does the Amazon listing, on exactly *how* this coffee is rendered "low acidity" or how low it is relative to other beans or even what types of beans are used (arabica or robusta), which is normally standard information provided. Is it a low-acid coffee in the way I made it? Again, I can't really tell. If low acidity matters to you I'd suggest cold-brew rather than other methods, since the heat extracts much more acid from the beans. Cold Brew reduces acidity from any coffee beans.Prices change, and people's budgets vary, but to me at the time I write this these beans are priced at a VERY steep premium over what I consider comparable quality coffee beans. That said, it made excellent coffee, and their purity certifications and promised lower acidity may be worth it to you.

Quality pumpkin spiced whole bean
Upon opening the whole bean bag, a strong, delicious, and sweet pumpkin spice aroma was the first thing that impressed me. The aroma was unusually robust, but pleasantly so, even though I was concerned about the equally strong artificial flavor in my coffee. However, it turned out to be the opposite. The pumpkin spice flavor was very subtle, and I really liked how it tasted. As I am not particularly fond of flavored coffee, I hoped it wouldn't be too heavy on artificial flavoring, and thankfully, that wasn't the case.My method of brewing the whole bean was pour-over, and I strictly followed the proper coffee amount, coarseness, water amount, and temperature (20g of coffee for 12 oz of water), resulting in a wonderfully brewed cup of coffee. Yet, most of all, I truly enjoyed the subtly flavored pumpkin spice in this quality coffee. The coffee itself is a well-balanced medium roast with very low acidity, and, to my surprise, it was as smooth as cold brew. Overall, I really enjoyed this whole bean coffee with pumpkin spice. It stands out as the best pumpkin-spiced coffee I've ever tried, with no artificial flavoring aftertaste. Subtle flavoring is the key, in my opinion, though I do think the price is a bit high.

Bit expensive, but good taste
Number one thing I noticed, the flavor is not just smell. It does follow through the grinding and imparts a pumpkin flavor into the final brew. I've tested this with multiple brew methods, and each one results in a good pumpkin taste. The overall taste is quite pleasant outside of the pumpkin flavor as well. I don't have any scientific method to test the acidity, but the taste is very similar to other lower acid beans I purchase. This usually means a darker roast, which this qualifies for.The price is the only reason I hesitate. I understand the brand choice of testing for toxins, clean beans, etc. but a 50%+ price increase seems a bit steep.Overall, I would highly recommend these beans if cost were not an issue.
