I really like the case, everything has its place and its easy to know what goes where. It also comes with two batteries, so you have a backup battery in case you use one up! The drone can go really high, and it has various cameras as well! I already dropped it into the bushes and its completely fine!

We bought this drone for our kid, and it has completely exceeded our expectations! One of the best features is the built-in camera — the video quality is surprisingly good for the price, and it's been a blast capturing aerial shots of the neighborhood. Plus, the protective blade guards give us peace of mind. They've already saved the drone (and the furniture!) a few times from crash landings. Overall, this is a fantastic drone for older kids or even adults who want something fun and easy to fly without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

I honestly didn’t expect this drone to deliver this much fun and quality in such a compact design, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The 1080P HD camera captures super clear and vibrant footage even when it’s up high, the detail is crisp. Setup was quick and beginner friendly, and that one-key takeoff/landing feature? Total game changer for someone like me who’s not exactly a drone expert. I also love how portable it is. It folds up neatly and the case it comes with makes it perfect to just grab and go for a weekend trip or a hike. The 360° flips are a blast, and my kids had the biggest smiles trying out the different speed modes. It’s lightweight, intuitive, and surprisingly durable ours took a few gentle crash landings and kept going like a champ. Definitely one of my favorite tech purchases this year. Whether you're trying to get creative aerial shots or just have fun flying around, this drone delivers without breaking the bank.

While this is a nice small drone beware that its transmission control is very limited. I would also comment on the fact that I purchased it for $35 and the retail was quoted at $250+. It now shows a price of $45 and a retail of $69. Product pricing thus is very suspect for this drone. My first test flight with a fully charged battery was 5 minutes before it started showing battery degradation. This test flight was in my garage where I have 18 ft ceilings. My second flight was outside and the drone didn’t respond to the inputs when it got 40 ft above me. Every attempt to correct flight with the controller wasn’t being processed and the drone just flew away. Running after it was futile and I suspect it hit trees and lodged in them. So I would not buy this ever again and would let others know the cheap price comes with the potential of wasting your money as I did. Addendum: I recovered the drone and found the back two motors seized due to overheating of the motor. I suspect while lodged in the tree the motors continued to run but one motor was interfered with probably by a tree branch thus causing the melting of plastic and the internal parts of the motor. Beware of this product both from previous posts on battery melting and you can now add motor melting. Safety is of great concern and issues with this product are apparent.

Here’s what’s good: • The brushless motors make a big difference they’re quieter and handle light wind way better than other toy drones we’ve tried. • Obstacle avoidance actually works pretty well kept us from crashing a few times while we were still learning. • The remote’s super simple to use, and the one-click takeoff/landing plus hover mode make it beginner-friendly. • It’s got some cool features like gesture control, so you can try out all kinds of stuff. A few things to keep in mind: • The camera’s ok, kinda 1080p or low-res HD. Don’t expect cinematic vids.. it's fine for quick pics and clips, but can get a bit laggy in the app. • It doesn’t have GPS, so it might drift a little if you fly high or in windy conditions. Best to stick to open spaces and keep it lower in the air. • Battery life is about 12–15 minutes, so grab a couple extra batteries if you wanna keep flying. Luckily, it charges fast through USB. All in all, it’s a solid pick if you’re new to flying or just want a fun drone that doesn’t cost a fortune. It’s more than just a toy but not a pro drone—totally worth it for the price, and my kids love it too!

I bought this for my teen son. He always wanted a drone and we chose this one as it was inexpensive and was a good name. Velcase S101 is a drone I've heard about and seen videos on. Its easy to learn and has a decent camera. Size is small enough to fit in a backpack, but big enough that its not totally blown around inside. The app displays FPV video on your phone and offers a lot of functions such as easy takeoff and land, sketch flight plan, return to home, video and photo capture. There's a few more I haven't played with yet, but those are pretty nice. Its a wifi drone, so range is like 200ft or so, but that's fine for beginners. We did manage to crash a few times, but with the included prop guards sustained no damage. Kit comes with carry case, 4 prop guards, 4 extra propellers and screw driver, two drone batteries and charger, and AAA batteries for the controller. Instruction manuals are included for both the controller and for APP setup. At one point this was the best selling drone on Amazon and I haven't checked, but with the price and features it can't be beat.

I bought this drone to get used to flying quad rotors, without risking crashing a more expensive drone. What I liked about it is that it's easy to carry around and the battery is easy to swap out. Flying it was fun, it can go relatively fast for its size. For the most part, the optical tracking camera keeps the platform stable. I've run it into a couple of things, and its survived the collision. There were even times were it stayed in the air after one of the propellers slightly brushed up against something. Flying it is fun. I was hoping to get some imagery off this drone in order to test some object detection and visual odometry algorithms. For this purpose, a 1280x720 resolution is more than enough. I knew there was no image stabilization, and for these purposes that is completely fun. However, the motion blur ruins a lot of the video frames. Unless you're not touching the controls and there's no wind, you won't get a clear image. There is no storage on the device. When you capture video or imagery, it is capturing a heavily compressed JPEG frame sent over UDP (broken up into several packets). Because of this technique, you can't expect a smooth frame rate (especially when its out of line of sight or far away) and quality of the image is significantly reduced. Despite what the title says, this is not a 1080p drone. It transmits JPEGs at the resolution of 1280x720, so its technically 720p. The application you download to use it is kind of finicky. It asks you to sign up for an account, but I was able to use it without doing this by hitting the back button. The app would crash every time I tried to change the settings. If you look up the developer of the app, you'll find that it is by LIU DEV - who makes a lot of the apps of the other drones sold on Amazon and I believe the company is LE WEI - they seem to make a lot of camera-like toys sold on Amazon under different brand names. I wouldn't buy it again, because of the quality of the video recording (maybe, you just get what you pay for). I am giving it two stars instead of three, because the advertised resolution is not truthful.

I have a lot of kids and we all love flying drones. So I have owned quite a few drones over the years. We can be kind of hard on them, too, so I also have an idea of what to expect in terms of sturdiness. I got this drone for one of my younger kids. I wanted something that would be easy for him to get started on and could handle taking some crash landings from time to time. We have flown this drone quite a bit over the last few weeks and so far it has been absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. Set up was a breeze. I put on the propeller guards and let my son have at it. It was really easy for him to get the hang of. The controller even comes with an overlay labeling the different controls. It was totally easy peezy! I definitely would recommend this drone for beginners and casual users. Of course, hard-core enthusiasts will want something next level but that's an entirely different and much more expensive segment. For people wanting something that's easy to use and not too pricey, you cannot go wrong with this drone!
