Works as planned.
Nothing much to write about here. I put this ram in a 21.5" iMac from late 2009. The system we had only came with 4gb installed and two empty slots. Do directions at all but was able to to figure it out. Lay iMac face down on table, unplugged of course, and remove 3 small phillips screws holding a vent plate on the middle of the edge. The only thing visible was the two empty slots, the two filled slots, and years of dust. Used air to remove dust, placed ram in bottom to slots. Buttoned everything back up. Easy as could be. Noticed a speed increase quickly. Not much else you can do with the 2009 mach that I know off that is even worth it.

Was going to buy a new Mac, but don't need to now...
I love my 17" MacBook Pro (Mid 2010) - it's my workhorse and I use it every day, but many of the new apps drain the memory and make the computer unresponsive, especially the Google Chrome browser, drove me nuts. I was going to bite the bullet and buy the new iMac Pro but before shelling out $5k+ I thought I'd give this a shot, and wow, am I glad I did! For $50 I doubled the memory to 8GB and it's like having a new computer, Chrome, Photoshop, and Bridge can be open at the same time and run perfectly. Easy to install, too, took me 5 minutes. Best fifty bucks I have ever spent.

Just what I needed.
I needed it for my Lenovo T410. Worked like a charmYes just because you may see "for mac" on a product like this. Does not mean you can not use it on other machines. It is just ram. Some speeds and types do not test well with certain platforms. I am looking at you Ryzen.....But for the most part you have little to worry about. As long as it meets the specs for your system.Source? Tech for over 10 years, Microcomputer Specialist, and Electronics Tester.Great price. And was packaged very well.

Outstanding
A friend of mine gave me a mid 2010 Macbook that I really liked but it was pretty darn slow, which was no wonder considering that it only had 2 gigs of RAM. An upgrade was in order. I considered 16 but decided 8 gigs should be enough. Luckily that was correct. That Apple runs like a champ with 8 gigs of this RAM. I never knew the joys of a very smooth running OS....normally I couldn't afford it but for 50 bucks this purchase made a Mac fan out of me!

Easy to install
Item arrived and was installed in 5 minutes flat. Super easy and bumped up speed a tiny bit but on a 10 year old Mac thatโs still running it was worth it. Upgraded 4 GB plus 2 x 4GB to 12 GB.

Perfect
Great price and quality. I've become hesitant about aftermarket Mac replacement products, but this is the real deal. I installed it in a few short minutes. After becoming frustrated with video editing time, this was just what the doctor ordered.

They were fine. Didn't get the results I was looking for
They were fine. Didn't get the results I was looking for, but I don't think it has to do with the memory kit.

Prompt delivery and product as described
I upgraded from 4GB 2x2GB to 4x4GB. No visible improvement to rendering times or performance. Computer is working fine, not stalling.

Works on MacBook Pro 13 inch (mid 2010)
I bought it for my MacBook Pro 13 inch (mid 2010). It's a 5 years old MacBook Pro. I had crucial 8GB (upgraded from ordinal 4GB). I got the RAM within 02 days (before the actually delivery date). I replaced the RAM and now it shows 16GB. Performance is over the chart as Apple normally supports 8GB for this model but because it's has Intel Core 2 Duo with nVidia GeForce 256, so it can unofficially support 16GB. What can I ask? 5 years old MacBook now performing like a MacBook Pro in 2016. Hurray !

Not compatible with Macbook Pro 7.1 Mid 2010
Bought for macbook pro 7.1 (mid 2010), clearly specified as a compatible model in the description, but it doesn't fit. The notch on the connector side of the RAM chip splitting it into two parts is in the wrong place, so it can't be inserted into the slot. Attached photo shows the "notch" on the connector side in a different place on this item vs one of the original 2GB Samsung RAM chips taken out the macbook pro 7.1.I purchased another for pretty much the same price from another seller on amazon (Komputerbay - also fulfilled by amazon so arrived much quicker). It is described as being exactly the same (16GB (8GBx2) 204-pin 1066MHz DDR3 PC3-8500), however this one actually has the correct connection for macbook pro 7.1 and is now working perfectly.

10 GB Good 16 GB Better - no swop no compressed no slow down.
10GB Ram was Good 16GB is better with parallels you can spin up a few Virtual machines and still run well. Oh and suspend them when you don't need them very handy.

Gave my MBP a new lease of life!
Perfect! Super easy to install and works perfectly on my mid 2010 MBP. My MBP runs so much better now!A really worthwhile upgrade that is simple enough for anyone to do.

Excellent
Was sceptical initially, but decided to bite the bullet. Glad I did ... my MacBook Pro (mid 2010, model 7.1), with latest EFI now has 16gb of RAM.Coupled with a Crucial BX100 500Gb SSD, has resulted in my boot time going from over a minute, to 12 seconds from chime to login prompt. Tons of RAM for running large VMs now.I was going to upgrade to one of the new MBPs but this should give me another year at least out of my MBP !!
