The Vision for the DoublePeak was to bridge the gap between recreational hammock users and the serious hardcore hikers, backpackers, climbers and campers. We set out to create the absolute best hammock that's affordable for the casual user (for tailgating, urban chillin, backyard bbq, beach, travel) yet designed with features and the highest grade material the pro's are proud and confident enough in to add to their gear pack. So we did just that! We studied the market, tested competing brands almost to exhaustion, measured, tested material, ropes, biners and as a result of this process we created the most comfortable, versatile, lightest, strongest and coolest hammock on today. We started with the material. We needed soft and comfortable yet strong and durable. We found it using 210T (Taffeta) Nylon. Next the size! This was a tough one, but we finally got it right and created the perfect length relative to width ratio making our hammock super comfortable for everyone! Now the rad part, pros say its "top of the line." A hybrid suspension system using triple stitched tree friendly straps along with ultra light 3mm Dyneema; rope for the daisy chain. By upgrading our gear it allowed us to fit everything into ONE small compression bag. Don't forget we even give you it at no extra charge the complete suspension system and aluminum 5kN carabiners so you're ready to go the minute it arrives at your home. Deceptively supportive.
This thing looks and feels like it wouldn’t hold up a watermelon, much less two people. But it freaking works. Very comfortable too, although the material doesn’t breath - so it’s pribably better for use in the fall than in the summer. You might feel a bit stifled in it during the summer, unless you’re in an extremely mild climate.

Very comfortable
This is my third hammock and my favorite one. It's big! It's comfortable and getting a nice diagonal lay is easy. Minus one star for cheap straps, caribiners and heavy cordage.

Actually 10.5' length but still very comfortable
These hammocks are actually 10.5' long. Despite being 6" shorter than advertised they're still very comfortable. Taller people may prefer longer hammocks, but they shouldn't pass up on this hammock just because of the length. I find it's more comfortable than some 11' hammocks. The quality of the hammock and suspension are excellent, it's a very comfortable lay, and you can't go wrong with the company backing the product.

Love this hammock
Love this hammock. Solid material, very comfortable and easy setup. Packs away nicely with all of my camping gear. I definitely recommend Ridgeline hammocks.
