I've never been able to cut my dogs (3 of them) nails because I've also been worried. They must have had in mind I don't know what I am doing (probably right) so after one try, they politely declined giving me their paws and that was years ago.Until now ! I bought these clippers which were recommended from a friend, watched a couple of videos on YouTube, I read the e-book coming with these clippers and this afternoon, I tried. I didn't rush it, I gave a cuddle first and touched the paws... I had prepared some little treats... My middle one didn't bat an eye lid and let me cut her nails, all of them without complaining once. Her nails are probably still a bit too long but there are definitely shorter than they were and it was a good experience for both of us, so I wanted to stay on that, for the moment.These clippers are really good, they are comfortable to hold, there is a safety guard what's really good for beginners like me and when you press, they give a very clean cut.Now, what am I going to do with all the money I will save by not bringing them to the Vet to have their nails cut ???

My dogs nails have only been clipped by our vet recently and that was down to her age and lack of walks and the experience was hell for both of us. So I looked on amazon to see if I could find a pair , well surprise surprise there were loads.. I did have a price in mind due to my dogs age and I read several reviews before I purchased these. I have to say these clippers are amazing as they are light, sturdy and simple to use. I was quite nervous about using them but I need not have worried and the experience for both me and my little girl was painless and un stressed. The supplier added a lovely personal touch with a follow up email and a set of instructions. I can highly recommend the product and the supplier and I will definitely be using them again. Gave 5 stars based on customer service. Arrived within 2 days of ordering them, which was great. Managed to cut 4 claws on my German Shepherd before one of the handles snapped. The blade is very sharp, but the plastic handles are not particularly strong. I'd advise if you've got a large breed with thick claws, then these are no good. I'm sure they would be great for smaller breeds with smaller claws. Customer service is fantastic, they were more than happy to help. Offered me a full refund, which I received within a couple of days after speaking to them.

This product gives me confidence in carrying out a task that I am nervous about doing.My little girl is also very nervous about having her nails cut, but she allowed to do the job without getting stressed out, this in turn helped me the same way. The clippers feel very sturdy and are very sharp. Came with a back up message by email explaining how to use the product. Received these clippers and nail file the day after ordering using Amazon Prime. Cannot fault the service provided by Whites Commerce and the downloadable guide in pdf format was an excellent addition. The guide provides full instructions on how to safely clip and file your dog's nails and a further brief instruction guide is on the back of the packaging. The clippers are sturdy and well made and snip through the nails effortlessly. I have only used them once but see no reason why they should not be able to be used for years to come. In summary, a quality product from a quality retailer 10/10.

I bought these for my Smooth Fox Terrier, who often gets a little long in the claw but doesn't like having her feet fiddled with. I've always been a little afraid of hurting her when nail clipping, so I specifically chose a pair with a "guard" on them.They're not too large, so are a good fit for someone with smaller hands. The grips are comfortable without being too soft, and the shape of the clippers makes them really easy to handle (even the lock catch) while using one hand and holding the dog still in the other! My dog still doesn't like having her nails clipped, but thanks to the clippers being so easy to handle, the job's done quickly and neatly and is over before she can really start stressing and struggling.The service was also quick and efficient, even though I ordered them over the holiday period.

Packaged well and came with a lovely note from supplier to ensure I was happy with product and in case I wasn't a direct email to get support.Being the owner of a nervous young dog comes with struggles, however now toenail clipping wont be one of them anymore!I held my dog against me and held her paw firmly, it cuts very clear and precise and its not very noisy when it clips (something which spooked her before with different set) Just in case she jumps it has a safeguard to make sure you can't clip too far. Very easy to hold in my hand and the angle is perfect for clipping, the little file included makes sure you file away any sharp edgesFinally I can clip the nails of my nervy dog by myself! What more could you want?
