This is my second keekoon ip camera , very happy with the camera , easy to setup and never have any problems.

Revised review (Original below)Keekoon support contacted me advising that they have a new app but only from their web site. (Not from the Play Store) This works for me but the camera wi-fi set up had to be done by Ethernet cable. (The wi-fi auto detection didn't work for me.) So the camera is working again.Original review: Worked for 6 months then failed. Decided to re-install the app but it does not download from the Play store. So the camera is now just a piece of plastic.

I bought this in January, and if it was still working as it had been up until now, it would have had 3 stars.What I liked:- The app I found way to use and intuitive working with the camera, once it was added- Good picture quality- Two way audio worked pretty well, although there would sometimes be a noticeable lag between using the microphone and being able to hear the audio- Being able to add different types of user via the Web UI. Shame this wasn’t replicated to the appWhat I didn’t like:- Setup is a faff, having to plug into the router etc, and optimal setup is really done via the web UI- Unsurprisingly, manual is a bit rubbish- This past week, it’s started to stay permanently on Device Offline!, despite resetting to factory defaults and setting up from scratch twice. Wearing out after only 8 months is rather poor- SD recording was fine while it worked, then one day stopped working when the SD card was only 6% full- Playing video from the SD card was awkward, no way to skip ahead and didn’t always work- Infrared lights were quite intense (I was using this in my toddler’s room)- No ability to bulk download videos via the interfaceThere are definitely better options. Also, I bought mine for £50, over £200 (as it is currently priced) is completely nonsensical.

Good camera until connectivity issues. Can only connect on local WiFi since September 2019. Emailed manufacturer but no reply. Good clear picture, intuitive controls on the app.

I already have 12 of these cameras and I’m very happy with them. However the last one I’ve just bought, to replace an old one (4years) that has given up, has been supplied with a 2 pin mains adaptor when all the others had UK 3 pin plug mains adaptors. Two pin adaptors are no good as they drop out of the 3 pin to 2 pin adaptor you have to use to get into a 3 pin wall socket! I’m very disappointed. I’ve got round it by using the adaptor from the old KEEKOON camera, but would like to know why the change in the UK? KEEKOON this could severely effect your UK sales!!
