We tried to use their 0.22um filters to remove rod-shaped bacteria from a buffer. Much to our surprise, a considerable number of bacteria made it through the filter! The filters were shipped without any padding or bubble wrap in a thin flexing cardboard box. During transport, the filter pores could have enlarged due to oil canning or the filters could have come unglued. Alternatively, they could have been defective from the factory. All that matters to us is we don't trust them to reliably filter anything

New: item dude arrive correctly. Up the star one,I’ll be honest, I’ve had problems every time I’ve ordered from this vendor from amazon. This time I was sent 250ml instead of 1000ml. Last time lost for 30 days in an amazon facility. I’m done. Now I have to wait longer for the replacement and to be honest, it will probably be wrong again. Not sure who is messing it up. I have been using AutoFil standard 1000ml filter assembly to filter out a mixture using avocado oil. using the same ingredients for both test. the standard filter takes me 36 hours to filter 1000ml. the Autofil SS took me 78 hours to filter the same amount. This product may be faster for thinner liquids but i was disappointed on using it with a thick liquid. like the brand but not happy with the filtration times on them for what media im using to filter.

Love the Autofil Product Line. Great quality and we are very happy with the performance in our lab.
