Happy Beaks Kingfisher Hanging Suet Fat Cakes Holder, Steel Wild Bird Block Meal Food Feeder

so far very happy with the suet block feeders. blue tits and great tits came to them immediately. ive just put them out so I don't know how they will weather...we shall see. the cover makes it a little more difficult for larger, sometimes pesty birds from landing on it and feasting on the entire suet cake. it also shields it somewhat from rain.

I am pleased with these feeders. Along with Starlings, Great Spotted Woodpecker and many other garden birds I get a lot of Crows, Magpies & very large Rooks which quickly devour everything in sight. I am very pleased to say they cannot perch on these feeders leaving the Great Spotted Wood Pecker along with the other smaller birds to enjoy their fat blocks.

Good sturdy unit that looks like it will stop squirrels from eating fat blocks. However, it slso seems to stop blue tits and other small birds from eating the fat too. They seem to have problems reaching the fat. Maybe it's a tad too sturdy?

Garden birds love it, looks nice too, easy to fill , highly recommend

ARRIVED PROMPTLY AND DOES THE JOB IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO. IT IS ALSO A GOOD DESIGN BECAUSE IT IS EASY FOR THE BIRDS TO GRAB A HOLD OF AND FEED. WILL PROBABLY BUY ANOTHER ONE FOR THE OTHER END OF THE GARDEN.

I previously had a cheap old green one which attracted lots of birds until the squirrel ran off with it. Bought this but no birds would use it. Painted it dark green and all the birds were immediately back. I assume they could not see the cage to be able to land on it when it was shiny metal
