Japan Cotton Pongee Noren Curtain Tapestry Wakou Flower Design

These are beautifully done. I ordered three different styles and love them all. They are longer than the typical noren, but at least on typical door heights in the US they do not go all the way to the floor. I hang them on a rod from just above the doorjam, and they are a foot or so up from the floor. If I were to hang it from the bottom of the doorjam, they'd still be 6-8" above the floor. Even so, they look lovely and are made of a fine quality cloth.My main disappointment is that these are one-sided. I have several noren I bought in SF, and they're all two-sided—that is, the print is rich and full on both sides. These are printed on one side, and the back side is definitely the back side. This is why only 4 stars.

This is a soft cotton and a beautiful dark purple color. I was told this is a navy blue, but in actuality it is deep purple. Very pretty, but I wish it looked the same on both sides. This noren only has a design on one side but is longer than most.

Very pretty. Sturdy. Doesn't quite fill my doorway (top to bottom), but still works well. I've gotten lots of compliments on it.

Very beautiful product. I've had this for a while now and has done very well at creating privacy for my doorway that had no door.

So Japanese!!! All my friends love it, and said this noren is so Japanese!!!
