For this reason I think a beginner would find it frustrating. Quality was good. Almost ran out of one or two colours but overall very happy. The finished product looks great. I made this because the sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine and I wanted to stand in solidarity with all Ukrainians. Review: Gorgeous, rich colours. I prefer using a 22 needle as it's a bit longer. **Q: Is it mounted on a wooden framed this mounted on a wooden frame, so that it is taught to work on** A: I didn't mount it on a frame to do the work but I did cover the edges with masking tape to stop the edges from fraying. Good for beginners. Printed canvas. *by W***S on 14 May 2021* I’ve not completed but this is a nice kit, this is a printed canvas and not counted. I have only sewn in wool so this silky thread was a test for me. I wanted small and this is very small. I disagree with the instruction to separate all the strands of the thread and put back together, I didn’t like how it looked so am just using as they were provided. Otherwise the instructions are lovely and clear so makes it easy to see what to use where. The threads are well organised on a card sorter which is nice too. They even show how many thread strands to use in the different areas. I feel this will look better and better as I fill the canvas.
