The Amber heated towel rail is a free standing or mobile unit and can be plugged into your power supply like any other electric appliance. This means that there is no need to have it plumbed into your central heating system or connected directly onto the main electrical supply. At 960 mm high and 1000mm wide it has a generous heat output of 300 watts (element) and is manufactured from the same high grade stainless steel as all of our other products. Castors allow the Amber to be moved around the home with ease and it is perfect as a towel warmer for the spare bedroom or as a clothes dryer in the winter or on rainy days. The Amber is inserted with an electric element and filled with a water based inhibiting fluid which allows it to be heated through a process of induction. Intelligent Heating Technology (IHT) via a heating element with built in thermostat allows the rail to monitor and respond to the external temperature and controls the maximum temperature of the unit at approximately 70ºc. This results in energy and cost savings on a continuous basis.
