 Bought this for my astronomy inclinded kid. Little did I know that the adults would enjoy its actuate 3d texture as well! My kid uses it as a nightlight, in the color switching mode it fades between a rainbow of colors. Battery lasts about 8 hours on a charge. Comes with usb charging cable. The "tap to change" is a little finicky. But once you figure it how hard to tap, it works well.

Seems cheap with low resolution 3d printing. Higher resolution moon surface in product description is not accurate. Picture shows a thank-you card included but the card is not included as advertised. Tried to find a way to contact seller in Amazon app but no such luck. Item works as described and is just OK not great. Wish I would have bought a higher quality one it is just hard to tell from these moon lamp listings. I think there are some high detailed ones out there. This isnt it. Don't be fooled like I was by the words "upgraded 2018".

My niece opened this as a birthday gift and went annoyingly giddy, which is a good thing I guess. I have to admit, it is pretty impressive how it glows like the real moon. I wasn't too impressed with all the tacky colors it can change to, but for the teenager, that caused a second bout of ridiculous screams and giggles.As a bonus, my younger nephew really liked "putting together" the stand. It wasn't much of a task, but took him a few minutes of concentration.Only thing I didn't like is that after the purchase, I found this item for sale at lots of local stores for cheaper (they were $11 at Menards).

Bought this for my office and it looks really cool when lit up. Less so when it's 'off' as it is made of a lightweight white plastic. However it seems to charge up very quickly and provides a nice comment piece on my desk.

The lamp was smaller than expected. I have a small to average sized woman’s hand and the lamp fit in my palm. It was slightly larger than my hand. It did look very much like the moon. It came with a wrist strap that you could attach (or not) and walk around with it. The glow and switching of the colors was soft but bright, it came beautifully packaged as a valentines gift in a nice box. It is a gift for my son’s birthday but that touch from the seller was impressive. It came with a usb charger (compatible with my Apple wall plug) and a wooden stand. My son will be happy with this and i’ll Purchase from this seller again. Perhaps the larger one next time

 I was really looking forward to this lamp for my desk at work. The color changing feature was the main selling point for me; unfortunately, mine only goes from white to brownish and never cycles any other color. The brightness is also not really bright enough unless pitch black. Watching some other reviews and it seems that mine might just be a dud as others are brighter and cycle all colors. I’ve added a video to show how “well” the tap controls work on mine.

I was startled at how light it is (not entirely sure why this surprised me) but it gives off beautiful light and the mean to change light color is simple and easy to use. The box it came it needed no wrapping when giving as a gift. Thus far my son hasn’t dropped it so I can’t yet speak to resiliency, however I’m quite happy with it.

This was a gift for my husband who loves this, he is using it as a lamp on his nightstand and it actually lights up the whole room pretty well.
