Duo Boost Protein Shaker Bottle, 24 oz. (Marine)

This honestly is the best shaker bottle I have ever owned!! I use it multiple times every day and was switching between this and the Blender Bottle, but that one's trash now compared to this one. I love that there is no ball. It may seem silly but not having something banging around in the bottle is really nice. It mixes just as well as the Blender bottle. I do recommend putting water in first and then your powder. I found that to be helpful with the Blender Bottle too so not really any difference. The straw was the original reason for wanting this bottle and the lack of ball is just a wonderful added bonus!! The straw works great and yes you do have to flip open the opening to get that last drop but I seem to be muddling through this inconvenience unscathed :) I just purchased my second one of these so I can cycle them to always have a clean one every day and for only $10.99 I don't have to talk myself into buying it.

Decent quality, basic design

Really cool I actually bought 2 of these 1 for work and one for my house. I use the one at home for protein shakes in the morning and I like being able to use the straw so I don't have to chug my shake in the morning. I use one at work for just water or some ice coffee and it works great and with the measurements I can keep track how much water I am drinking during the day. Threw it in the dishwasher a few times an no issues there either.

Turbines promise to eliminate all chunks with vigorous shaking. Well trust me, I am quite vigorous in my shaking capacities. Even pre-whisked my meal replacement shake before shaking. Makes no difference. Large chunks of my slurry remain. Thus, when I am attempting to choke down my self-shaken hell, the large chunks prevent the protein penance juice from actually exiting the rather narrow "gulping" cavity. This renders my Sisyphean meal all the more drawn out and hellish. Didn't really think that possible, but there you go. Thanks Timr!

The fixed propeller is a cool design, and it blends the shake well. It's just the right size for 1-2 scoops and not overly large. It's make from thick plastic and feels very durable.

Worked well at first but the straw broke after 3 months. We've had multiple shakers like this and all of them broke in 3 months or less.

I wanted to like this because I don't like shaker bottles with wire balls or even the hard plastic balls, but it just didn't work for me. It's a bit too small to properly mix with 12 ounces of liquid in it. Additionally, the opening is a bit small for my powder scoop and powder spills around the edges. The straw doesn't reach the bottom so there is a lot of liquid left over, and ultimately it only mixes okay - not that thoroughly, and only after a lot of shaking.
