Den Braven High Temperature / Fire Sealant 1200°C Black 310ml

I was looking for an adhesive that could stand very high temperature and I didn't want to use fire cement because it usually breaks up. This was the ideal solution I was looking for to stop the flue pipe on my clearview woodburner stove from lifting out of the fire, and this is excellent.

Can't say much about this product, it does the job it's meant to which is seal around log burner and hold everything together

It is black when it comes out of the cartridge but tends to turn white with time. On a black solid fuel stove that's not so good. If you allow it to be feathered at the edges it dries out and flakes.

i required this item to see if it would stick my hair straighteners, the plate was falling off and i tried the normal glue but it obviously wasn't heat proof so although this is for a stove or oven it seems to be holding my straighteners, which heats up to 200oc it saves me spending £100 quid. happy days

No complaints about application or performance. I don't believe I've gone to 1200 deg C however at the temperatures I've run its definitely suitable. Delivered very fast!

I originally bought this sealant for my food smoker, to seal up a couple of gaps.With the first rain came disaster! the sealant disolved leaving a disgusting mess of my smoker rather than keeping the rain out.So don't use it outdoors, otherwise up until the rain it work perfectly.
